Trouble is on a distinguished road
Strange Problem with New Version

I just DL'd and installed the new version.

I have my task bar (Start Menu) set to Auto hide and Always on top.
If I full screen the charts, or main window, the Start menu no longer displays.
Even if I leave a small gap. the start menu displays UNDER the FX window.

Really strange part is it will work sometimes for a few tries, but then stops.

Anyone else seeing this ??

Error in calculation too

I have errors in calculation as highlighted in the "Closed Positions" tab in the image. Luckily, it's just a demo account.

Hi moderator,

I need urgent help.

I found an unexpected problem. I was working for some weeks on a demo account and switched today to a regular micro account. And found the following problems (I already uninstalled and reinstalled the software - deleting the register files also):

1 - when trying to add a new entry order the small popup window doesnt show the "Advanced" button and thus I cant add a stop (and not a trailing stop either) and a limit for this order

2 - on trading station main window I cant "close" any position, add a stop or a limit, because I dont have these functions enabled

3 - in the columns list that pops up when right clicking the columns title line I dont have the columns "stop" and "limit"

4 - the STOP/LIMIT button on the upper toolbar vanished also

So far the only way I have to trade is to click on buy or sell buttons when the desired price is achieved and thats very unconfortable and subject to a number of possible errors

Please advice

Do we know if this has been addressed yet? I tried to post a new thread to this elsewhere on the site before I found this thread, but I don't see my thread posted anywhere. I have a screenshot of what I believe is being talked about, or very similar.

Is your account with FXCM UK or FXCM US? If your account is with FXCM US, you shouldn't be able to add stop/limit and even use the close button feature to close your trades. Below are some detailed videos you can watch for new information:

Nov 15th Update

Hi
Just tried the new update and getting same connection issues as others have reported. Also I now get a WinMap.exe and virus warning. I scanned the PC and found W32.Virut-9 everywhere. Now this could have been prior, but the only changes I made recently was to update FXCM station and to download the new JAVA station.

Would be good to share other experiences here.

I can assure you that the update did not have any viruses otherwise it would be a big issue. What were the error message? Please try the following:

1. go to settings in your log in window
2. click on real >> edit
3. at URL: please add the following: www.fxcorporate.com

You can also try the following if the above does not work:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools -> Internet options
3. Connections
4. Go to LAN settings
5. Check Auto detect settings
6. Check Use proxy server for your LAN
7. Address set to dsl-cache.saix.net or cache.saix.net
8. Set port to 8080

You can also uninstall and reinstall the software:

Uninstall / Reinstall

Please let me know if the above worked for you.
