The U.S. dollar (USD) looks like it is poised to resume its uptrend. This bullish outlook is bolstered by what we saw in the FOMC Meeting Minutes. It looks like the Fed is not in any hurry to raise rates, but they do think that the next move on rates will be a rate hike and not a rate cut.

You can see in the Intermarket Analysis video that the U.S. Dollar Index is right back up at near-term highs, and oil, gold and other commodities appear to be resuming their downtrends. EUR/USD - Euro Dollar
1,4701. EUR USD is in an downtrend directed by 4H exponential moving averages. EUR USD is in a consolidation after the last bearish movement. The volatility is high. Bollinger bands are flat. ForexTrend 4H, daily (Mataf Trend Indicator) is in a bearish configuration. 1H ForexSto (Modified Stochastic) indicate a bullish pressure on EUR USD. The consolidation should continue. The price should continue to move in Bollinger bands. => We could take a short position at 1,4710. We will put the stop loss above 1,4750 (-40 pips).
