Hello Simit Patel,

I've just begun researching TradeStation's automated trading and am wondering about the advantage of using "Robot" over TradeStations own system (whatever that is.)

What's your opinion on this?

My goal is to fully automate my emini trading -- any suggestions on software and broker(s)?

TradeRobot automates strategies with FXCM which only trades spot foreign exchange, not e-minis.
If you're looking to automate forex, then you would need to a robot like Trade Robot or one of the others (or FXCM directly), since TradeStation has not yet built in automation for forex into their platform yet.

It should be coming soon, but even when it does, you will only have the option of using one broker, and so will be forced into using them. In my opinion the automation provided by some of these tools will be as good, if not better than that provided by TradeStation, and they give you the options of using multiple brokers.

I was looking at Trade Station 8.2 last week when I found out FXCM's own people use it. Am I to understand that Trade Station 8.2 will not directly interface with FX Trading Station provided with my account?
