JPY Short Daily?

Hi Greg,

Do you see a clear Short Setup on the USDJPY Daily?

Price perfectly bounced from the Downward Trend Line, (5,3,3) Stochastic indicating significant Hidden Divergence continuation, and a Evening Star reversal candlestick at the Trendline - doesn't it look like a short?

I also saw a H1 swing high at 93.79 for a good place to enter.

Do you agree with any of it?

Thanks,
JForex.

Hi Izumi,

Thanks kindly for your thoughts and information.. Its very helpful indeed..

I am in a position to keep my trades for the long term, so I till set a target now of 147.00 - I would think now that a pullback to 157 is pretty unlikely, although 155.xx could be quite possible.. It will be very interesting to see where it goes..

Izumi, I just wondered why you mention about Friday?.. I trade 'generally' on fundies, and I can only se that the UK GDP will be announced, would this be what you are refering to?, or is there something I'm missing?..

Thanks kindly for your help...

The Trend of the Day - CAD/JPY

CAD/JPY - New Down Trend Forming?

CAD/JPY has been unable to break above the daily uptrend line that if fell below back on June 22nd. This uptrend line that supported this upmove that stretched all the way from the beginning of January 2009 is now a wall of resistance. Stops can be placed above the recent swing high to target the 79.15 area near the 200 SMA.

Hi Greg,

What are your thoughts please on the GBP/JPY pair?.. 152.37 seems a tough cookie to break, yet I can't really see this pair going much higher on a pullback..

Your thoughts greatly appreciated...

Thanks..

Price action on the USD/JPY acts like a bow and arrow; pulling back in the opposite direction before going forward. Currently, there is lots of support in the 9321 region which could send prices higher first before plunging below support. See the attached 4-hour chart.

GBP/JPY looks like it took it on the chin earlier than CAD YEN. GBPJPY looks like its finding support and could go a bit higher to perhaps form the right shoulder of a Head and Shoulder chart pattern before moving lower below the neckline. But you are very right, this is a tough cookie to break!
