    Fibonacci Video

I'd like to thank everyone in FXCM Education for all of the videos including the more advanced sessions under DailyFX Plus. I learn more and more each time I review them. However; I've noticed that there is one huge gap for me and that is the charts I use for trading are Fibonacci enabled and so I'd like to see video on this topic. Thanks again.

Thanks you for the kind words. Fibonacci is covered in the Support and Resistance lesson, but at some point may get its own lesson. Thanks for the input, we do appreciate it.

You would want to use the longer time frame chart to identify the trend and then move down to the shorter time frame chart to find your entry and exit in that same direction. Each trade will be different but if you identify your entry and then your initial protective stop placement, you know your risk. You can use a simple 1:2 risk:reward ratio to determine your exit. Otherwise, if you risk 100 pips on the trade, look for 200 pips in profit. Then you let the market decide how long you will stay in the trade.

Hello Cathy85...we're glad you find the information helpful.

This is just a tip of the iceberg regarding videos on how to trade this exciting market! We have additional on demand videos at this link :

    DailyFX Plus Trading Course
(a live FXCM account username and password is required)

In addition to the on demand videos, we also have 20+ live webinars each week. In the live webinars, we share with you current trading opportunities using the tools discussed in the videos. Each of the webinars conclude with a live Question and Answer period. This type of mentorship can add thousands of dollars of expenses to a traders account. However, it is included with any live FXCM account when you login at that above link.

We look forward to working with you.

    Regards,
    Jeremy

    Hello,

First off Thank You all so much for the invaluable education provided in the videos, etc. I am a total newbie, using a demo account and am ready to go live as soon as I have built up some winning trades, (so far I've placed 5 trades, 4 losses and 1 gain, using some of my own ideas from the videos and also the Daily FX signals.

With sooooo many strategies, indicators, etc. I must admit I'm kind of overwhelmed.

I start each daily looking at the Daily charts of all the currency pairs and then different time frames, etc.
I have so many strategies and ideas in my head that often, by the time I've looked at all the charts I'm too confused to know which strategy to apply and where.

Is there a method, or software that can help speed up the process of identifying trade opportunities and strategies to apply?

Is there maybe one strategy best for beginners you could suggest?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Thank You,

    George

I think that there may be a couple of strategies that would work for you, but you may have to find it. Nobody else can know about what makes sense to you or about your comfort zone. What makes sense for me may not make any sense to you as people do see things a little differently from each other. Because of this, each instructor has written a little about how they attack the markets so you can see a little variety. Here is the link:

    DailyFX Plus Live Classroom Schedule

I noticed that with the new year the Live Classroom schedule is different now. It seems there are less Live Webinars and only the current weeks schedule is available. I browsed for an announcement regarding it but could not locate one.

Will a schedule be available well in advance for future webinars?

    Thanks!

    Hi Glory,

It is a little different as we had reduced the schedule due to the holidays. We still are running a partial crew for the next couple of weeks. Plus, we are putting together monthly boot camps in our Dallas office. After that, we plan to begin increasing the frequency of live online events.

Thank you for joining us in the webinars! Perhaps you can make it out to the boot camp. We have some great stuff coming!

    Regards,
    Jeremy

Monthly boot camps in Dallas? You mean I can drive form Houston to Dallas and physically attend a boot camp?

Yes, we are holding monthly boot camps in Dallas. You would need to register for the event as there is a charge for it. The purpose of the charge is to teach those who are serious about learning how to trade in a small classroom setting. Each of the instructors are there for a 4 hour course typically held on a Saturday.

There are ways to get the classroom fee reimbursed. I can have a specialist contact you with those details. Simply email me at instructor@dailyfx.com with your phone number and I can have them return a call to you to discuss.

    Regards,
    Jeremy

    blip commercials

There is something wrong with these educational videos; they are trying to run 'blip' commercials and refusing to play the dailyfx videos.
