The schedule says there should be a US Opening Bell webinar at 9 AM ET, or has it been cancelled?

Also, James should be on the air at 1 PM, but the webinar is not listed in the Upcoming Events in the chatbox.

I don't know. It's showing as a completed event now. There aren't any other webinars today, so I assume they're getting a well earned rest after not having a free weekend due to working at the Expo.

    Hi Psioli
I've been pondering the use of Parallels or VMware. Reviews seem to say Parallels are better, but I agree with you, reviews indicate it slows the MAC down to primitive PC levels. t would be nice if a MAC version was made for MAC users I really don't like the idea of having to use Parallels or VMware Fusion...

Yes, sorry about that guys and gals...our flight out of Vegas was cancelled Sunday night. We didn't get back until Monday evening...James and I were definately looking forward to the Monday webinars. We are back on a 'reduced' schedule now. Matt is returning tonight for 9pm webinar. There is a 9am and 1pm webinar the rest of this week.

    See you guys there!

    Hi,

When I try to view the archived sessions of the daily instruction webinars, it`s possible to view the comments and the written texts during that session but the video does not play. If I click on the left video window, the only video shown would be the live session, if there is one at that moment.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can watch the archived daily instruction sessions ?

    Thanks

Hello Pacer and welcome to the community! If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see the archived sessions player. Just click on the class that you want and it will play in that area. If you want to see the comments from the chat box, click on Completed Sessions in the chat box area to find the corresponding chat from the class. Hope this helps!

    Hi Eric,

Many Thanks. The bottom part was not there in any of my web browsers. After a couple of tries with different computers I understood that it was about flash player.

    Thank you for your answer.

    Mirror Trading

Hi Guys - I have been messing around on a demo mirror trading platform. Whilst I was impressed at the Expo with this, my Demo account is in continual decline. I have changed the set up's still to no avail. Has anybody else tried this and if so, how did you get on? The theory behind it is great and I'm sure it can work but...........

    Tony,

The thing you have to understand in taking somebody elses trade is they have no consideration for your risk profile so before you decide to use any mirror or trade recomendation service is to know your own risk and can you afford to carry the stops from the mirror service as well as understanding the strategy that it is using. I use the daily fx+ signals on strategy trader as an alert service for some of my trading where appropriate. I make sure I have the appropriate strategy that I think suits the pair ( this info also on dailyfx) and then format the strategy to ask for confirmation before placing a trade ( though I always allow the trade to take place on the demo), I then look at it, if I agree with the signal and risk I will decide to take the trade if not i wait for my risk profile to align again. This works for me as I can not watch the market in such a wide way that the trading signals can.
    Hope this helps.

    Pete

I found an emulator program where i don't have to actually run windows on my MAC. Crossover or Winebottle programs emulate an environment and you don't have to actually buy any microsoft products like Windows. However as I don't know much about microsoft products, the emulators are asking for a program that it needs to emulate so as to run Marketscope. Does anyone at FXCM know what that program might be???

    Tweet on!

I've seen some folks in the recent DailyFX Plus webinars, but for those of you haven't been able to make it, there is some cool stuff from the Edu. staff. It looks like the instructors are getting on Twitter! Check out their upcoming classes to get the handles.

    Great day to all,

    Eric.
