I would like to ask the room to please give opinions on the following daily count, as I have understood it, of the EUR/USD. I am sorry I can't post a chart right now. However, the count is fairly straight forward. The numbers are within a few pips. :-)
This is based upon Jamie's long term count that has the Euro bottoming in 2000-2001, and that we entered into a W5 of 5 of 5 on approximately June '07.
If correct as he states, this should end the long term rally and we should enter a prolonged down move of some magnitude.
If I am misunderstanding Jamie's count and/or misquoting him I apologize and look forward to being corrected.
Thanks.
W 5 below (started June '07) of 5 (started October '05) of 5 (started September '00)
W1 1.3268-1.3849 = .0581 pips
W2 1.3849-1.3364 = .0485 pips (.786% of W1)
W3 1.3364-1.4967 = .1603 pips (2.618% of W1)
W4 1.4967-1.4323 = .0644 pips (.382% of W3)
W5 1.4323-1.5275 = .0952 pips (1.618% of W1)
Of course, the top has not yet been determined and we could go higher as many people believe we will. But, the overall count is starting to look fairly complete. (?)

1. I don't know how. :-(
2. I don't use an independent chart service that has the features you folks use. I can't do all the writing and stuff on the charts. I just have very basic type of charts.

GBP_so confused about the wave
Dear Jamie and all,
I count GBP as a triangle break however be kicked out in asia time since cable went down and break 1.9761 .
But now, we see cable back to the up trend and seens to approach 2.0 today.
I just wonder the triabgle still correct, or in fact we need to do another count for cable?
many thanks with your advice.
lost lots money in cable

I entered BGPUSD back into the lion's pit this morning. Looks like it is starting to move. I am now up more than 100 pips at this moment, almost at the break even point from the losses last night.
also, i am long EURUSD and USDCHF for a quick trade. Planning to exit USDCHF or switch to short in view what is happenning to the USD today in terms of USD weakness. I am thinking that it is slightly hypocritical to be long GBP and EUR and short CHF at the same time. I cannot be long USD and short USD at the same time, I am either for USD or against, but not this ambivalent approach, if you follow my argument.
BTW: I live in Edmonton; you are in Ottawa, right?

cable count
we are now in wave 3 of C and this will be confirmed if the previous high of 1.9970 is taken out. then minimum expectations will be wave1 = wave 3 which will be around 2.03

Hello Market
Thanks for your post. My GBPUSD diagram is different; please see below.
I am careful with the overlap of wave 1 and 4. I even drew a blue line to make sure that there is no interference, haha.
We don't want to open the Pandora Box with small overlaps again.

Hello neighbour, LOL to you, too.
We might have to wait for the promised pint, but I will take the rain check for now.
I meant, I am in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, not the UK. LOL
Anyway, it's nice to have a new friend

If you don't mind, I will help you.
I use the charts provided by FXCM. Dania chart, in fact.
after many attempts and frustrations I managed to post my charts. Here is , how:
1. On the cahrt press little icon on top "print"
2. A new window will open up with this chart.
3. press "select all" in Edit (on top)
4. Right click and select "copy"
5. Press on the computer Start, then Run, then "pbrush.exe"
6. Paint brush program will open up
7. Press "paste"
8. Now, you can write, draw lines on the chart, edit etc
Your charts will be little rough (like mine), but they can be legible
9. Save your chart
10. To post: Write the message, find button Manage attachments, click, browse for your chart, upload, preview message, post message
I know, it sounds complicated, but once you get hang of it it will be cinch

BAck to cable that is what you call a powerful move, just when the shorters thought that they had won the day..
I have to say was not expecting it to move so fast hence a little wary here....
