ok, then use the qsx indicator - once i decide the world is over, you can safely buy

i see alot of predictions about 2011 as the end of the bullmarket.. here something rather interesting about 2012:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN6ta...6233FA&index=0

The cycle-ending date of December 21st, 2012 is an "artifact of the Mayan calendrical system," said Jenkins, whose approach has been to reconstruct the original prophecy by examining relics such as a carved monument at Izapa. The date in 2012 points to a time when our sun will be in alignment with the center of the galaxy, and references to this alignment are encoded in numerous Mayan institutions and ceremonies,.

But Jenkins does not believe that the Mayans intended for 2012 to be viewed as a final ending, but rather a time of transformation and renewal. This rare "galactic midnight," or alignment occurs every 26,000 years and is like an opening conduit bringing more energy into our system, shaking things up in preparation for greater vibrations, he explained. 2012 is also a symbol for transcending time, which he believed the Mayans were able to do.

    ===

December 21 2012 — The Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, notably used by the Maya civilization among others of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, completes its thirteenth b'ak'tun cycle since the calendar's mythical starting point. However, it is conjectured that this may represent in the Maya belief system a transition from the current Creation world into the next. The 2012 Winter Solstice will also occur on this day at 11:11 UTC

and the kondratieff cycle as forecasted in 2002:

    Attic? Heh, heh, he..,

Could we be in 5 of C in GBPUSD? I'll be watching it as it nears the .618 Fib.

Edit: Nice tip on easy chart resizing..., I think I'll use the 15" screen in the future.

    Edit again, fixed chart

In 1930's there was an extra problem in the form of a tremendous drought. That is actually happening again right now.
Earlier in the century people thought that whatever they did to the earth didn't have any consequences. If tampering the earth was a problem then, tampering with the mind is a problem in our days.

About 2012, I am not so concerned about what the constellations will do to us, but more about what people will do to each other.

We are in a deep recession, that is for sure, but this morning LIBOR rates dropped. That is good news, means banks are starting to lend again.

    USDJPY

Heres a look at the USDJPY Weekly Chart... Last week Price was forcefully rejected at Overhead Fibonacci resistance at 94.00 and left us a Bearish engulfing / dark cloud cover type of candle which is a continuation pattern to the downside.. We are now early into the this week and price has not made any attempt to retrace into last weeks price action which is looking pretty bearish... This pair is due for a nice size drop this week and into the end of the month... All Fibonacci Support has been solidified and re-tested for confirmation.. This pair should start dropping like a rock soon enough and there is absolutely no Fib support in sight until 79.80... I'm looking for price to eventually drop into the 80.00 area and then some stalling before a further drop down to the next long term Fibonacci extension at 63.79 before a major bounce back upward from that level back toward 79.80...

I'm beginning to think it's time to stop using Marketscope because this last update from a couple weeks ago seemed to be a bad one. Marketscope jumps from 1 HR to daily, it would be nice to have 4 HR and such.

I guess I'm just venting, anyone else have these issues with Marketscope? I've got Metatrader, I guess I'd better master that charting program. Two trading programs, several browser windows, email, etc., puts a strain on my laptop..., gonna need a bigger 'puter.

p.s. Italm, I don't think the system's broken, we all just rode the easy money train too long and now the conductor is here to punch our tickets. There will be fallout from all this debt, perhaps a depression, but once the piper's paid we'll all go on our merry way.
    Hi Grin,

You can type in "h4" and it will show 4 hours or any other timeframe you like...

I just watched an interested program on HIST channel about the "Black Blizzards" in the Dust Bowl during the 30s. I'm not sure what you mean by "tampering with the mind" but I think you're right, any time we tamper with the earth it comes back to bite us financially, and we are seeing that again, only this time it is worldwide, and unfortunately coincides with an overexpansion of credit and severe imbalances.
