I dont know how to add a chart here but anyway its only a guess since wave 5 is in most cases an exhaustion wave and shouldnt be strong enough to touch 160
qsx, haven't heard from you today. Would love to see what you're looking at right now and what your counts look like on whatever you're seeing out there.
we dont need to trade every day, do we
didnt find anything really sure today, however i am watching this one for a potential reversal.. probably tommorow.
as long as this doesnt drift lower in a fifth wave it is NOT a diagonal and this chart is RUBBISH, but if it does, i will be quite sure the downmove (possibly the whole move from 1,70) has completed.
in fact, that fits quite well with this eye hitting 5 wave advance in euro/dollar.

Thanks for the chart qsx. Yeah, I agree too...there are times when I don't trade either.
No sense in "trading to trade" without a sense of direction. I agree.
Thanks for the chart.

Yeah, I'd agree with marketwavez2 on this...be sure to post a chart since this Elliott Wave forum requires visuals to see counts. It will help everyone as you talk about your chart. Thanks.

Ravno,
Again, thank you for taking the time to analyse the chart/s.
In conclusion....... I would say our chart count is very similar. I included this chart showing what I thought was wave 4, but that 'spike' (noted on the chart) barely penatrated the top of Wave 1. Hence I added the note about ' altered count due to spikes'. The count in Wave 5 also seemed 'iffy' !
* I was hoping this Forum was about 'Learning' by helping others, especially in this thread "Elliott Waves'. I guess the forum can be anything posters/moderator want it to be. I don't believe it should be a forum to post charts, so others are encouraged to TRADE off of. Besides, most traders don't trade all day.
Just MHO...............
JK.
Your count is, actually, also correct...
Why ?
Because the wave 4 can _enter_ the territory of the wave 1.
What wave 4 can't do is to _finish_ in the wave 1 territory.
So, when the wave 4 happens to be a triangle (as in your count) then it's possible for the first leg of this triangle to enter shortly into the wave 1.
Edit: The problem with your count, however, is in the wave "3?"...

Ravno ...... i see that Jknpa chart is a 425 min bar chart
is it possible to repost the same chart with 240 min ?
JKnpa can you please repost a 240 min bar chart ?
i think doing this can help to see the sub waves a little bit better
