I find it very tasteless to be gloating at the expense of others. While I don't consider myself to be a dollar bull, I do respect others opinions and positions. You do yourself and this forum a disservice by displaying that type of attitude. I would think that you're better than that.

Yeah, everyone was trying to pick the bottom on USD/JPY and USD/CHF. The masses almost never see a bottom or a top before hand.

So if the masses are doing tons of buying...they're convinced that this is "the" bottom. However, they've totally ignored the trend's direction and end up suffering as a result.

The masses never change, unfortunately. I wish for their sakes that they would.

Oh I think he's just happy at how well his trade went. Don't take it personal.

We're all wrong at times...and we're all right at times.

I think we have too much to learn from each other's strengths here to be divided.

It's not a question of being divided, it's a question of being respectful.

    Hey Hamid,

Do you have an update for your EURUSD OR a count for smaller time-frame,for example M30 or H1?

    Thanks

The game we play is a 0 sum game. Which means every cent you make you take from someone else and the only way to win is by quitting.

This was a hard earned victory...I can go back a few weeks and find where I was almost alone stating the bear case. I have no guilt coming and sharing my small little victory with those silent usd bears here.

For those just starting, they should realize when you play with the market you will face foes on every front.

Yep, victories are always nice and to be celebrated. Just don't get haughty. haha.

    Good job on your trade.

This is not the place to come and gloat about your little victories at the expense of others. or to come and exact your revenge against those who held contrary viewpoints to you. While this may be a zero sum game, this is also a forum where people come to share their ideas and analysis with other traders and offer constructive criticism. It's not a 'look at me now' type place. Any experienced trader who has been in the trenches, understands the concept of humility.

Okay, guys...let's get back to analysis. No one wins when there's not analysis being done.

For those just starting, following is a tip I got from a friend and it has been very helpful for me and I like to share it with you and the rest of the forum participants.

From a trader's psychology point of view I go by 2 rules:

    - The market is always right and is not trading for or against you.
    - The market can do whatever it wants and will do whatever it will do.

Meaning that you cannot take your trades personal, win or lose should not be a matter of you against the market or against any individual.
That way you keep an open mind about your trades and you will avoid "traders block" and fear of trading.

I keep as many counts as I can on a pair, and try to trade only the favorable 1:3 r/r trades. Sometimes a see a more probable count and trade with a little more risk, for instance when a bearish and bullish count both point in the same short term direction (e.g., B wave vs. 2 wave).

When I place a trade I consider that money as lost. That way there is only excitement of gaining and no fear of losing.

    Good luck!

It was not at the expense of anyone, I never once said, haha xyz you were wrong I was right.

In fact I only stated this was a victory for us usd bears. Never would I rub salt on a personal level. Any experienced trader would not do that.

My apologies if you thought I was attacking you personally.

Anyway, when the other side wins the day, I take just as much pleasure in learning from it.

I am in the USD Bear camp (at least in the intermediate term), so your comments didn't affect me personally. But sometimes comments of the nature that I mistook it for, end up discouraging those less experienced from posting their analysis here, for fear of being wrong. So, if I misunderstood you, then I apologize, but I commented on what I interpreted. It's all good.
