Could it be that Stanchiam actually speaks like this in real time? lol
yes, i speak what i see now
i am also a long term dollar bull, but that alone will not make me much
taking advantage of real time is my approach
yes miss joey, nice long at 1.24, but if dont take profit and price fall back later near 1.24x, u would have miss out those pips
as long its not cash out, its not yours, anyway, cheers.
This is a possible view. But, it would have to be complete today with the move down which you have to count as a 5 even though wave 4 and wave 1 price ended at the same point. In such a case, price would be heading to the 5800 area.
Good Luck.
yes agree, disappoint that 1.547 holds and thus, the favor shifted to more bullish tone now
however, still sticking to my count until invalidated

So NZDUSD exceeded your high. Is your thought still the same or are we on another course higher? Not sure whether I should get out of my short or not especially with the elections over the weekend as well as the CB intervention noise. Egypt is also in the news. Could be a crazy opening session.

Decisions...
Paul;
I have watched you over the past month. I usually don't share trading advice because I am not the best person for that. Oh, I can tell you what to do and what not to do from past experience. Now, for you, I am going to make an exception and provide you with 2 gems. Rules that should never be broken.
1). Never enter a position because you think that a turning point is near. Never! Why? Because you (not you personally) are often wrong. Over the years, I have monitored my positions and have achieved about 48% accuracy. There are times when I have been better and times when I have been better.
2). Never enter or exit a position based on a price estimate you have made. Key word "Estimate!" They are all guesses. Learn to recognize when a turn is near and place your order above or below the market for entry. Find a point where the market should reach if there is a trend change and move your stops near the market for an exit. Don't be afraid to get stopped out of the market.
3). Always use stops and use them wisely.
4). The President of this very company told me this "The difference between a new forex trader and an experienced one is that the new trader worries about how much money it can make and the experienced trader worries about how much he can lose." I did not trade today. I bought a car sometimes I go play golf. I am a lousy golfer. I do it to get away from the market and freshened my thought processes. If you are going to stay at this don't worry about how much can make and take some time off.
Here is the deal. If you shorted today, you took a counter trend position in a wave 2. Wave 2's are equity eaters but, that is the price you pay for learning. You pay more when you trade a wave 2 than any other wave. 5). Wait until the market has retraced 50 to 61% before attempting a counter trend entry.
That said, I traded this week. I only took what I called high probability trade set ups. That I tried to enter a C wave at its origin and get out early. Those trades may yield up to 100p but more likely 30 to 75 or 80.
Dollar Index Why it it like this ? Because of inflation and bad debts. Mr. Elliot did not actually talk about corrective ABCDE. His main idea is only on ABC but however nowadays politicians do not want it to be ABC, they prefer to have ABCDE. Only Mr. Preacher discovered that the existence of ABCDE. Different ages, different thinking and different wave formation. I see this US Dollar is going to be inflated to ZERO in future. No way it can recover back to 100. No way a corrective wave can cause Dow Jones drops to 5000. That was Mr. Elliot's idea, not the nowadays people thinking. Do not stick to the Book too much.

100 on usdx is not so impossible
on my idea your "brown 1" is end of A wave, "black 1' is end of b i B and nor we are somewhere on the end w of C (which should be ended min on 95)
