I have not used a NFA broker for a very long time and really paid no attention to these new rules, that sounds like a big hassle

thanks for your help There are a lot of other details too. Be careful till you read up on them.
For example, if you have more than one open trade in the same pair, when you enter an opposing trade, it will automatically close the one you opened first. Whether you like it or not.

or you can transfer your account to the FX UK and the software allow you closed it unlike the FX US.

They go by FIFO. Of course, in the same pair.
But, one new feature, OCO, one cancels the other, is pretty good. For example, if you want to play the extremes, you set your orders for a whole bunch of pairs, and then group them in one or more groups. If one trade of the group goes through, the others are automatically cancelled. There are no stops, no limits. Actually, no trailing stops, because you can enter an opposing trade as a stop or limit.

thanks for your help rickos69!! I was goin crazy for 30min restarting my computer, reloading the fxcm software, ect lol. made my losses back on the second trade and will have to read up on the new rules before my next trade. thanks again

You can still enter static stops as opposing trades, as well as limits as opposing trades. But, be sure that if you enter a stop trade and a limit trade, you set them up as an OCO,
