It could be "the wrong side". However, these have a tendency to do two things tht would mitigate that in the short term:
1. Is that a return to the previous high is likely.
2. Usually, before such a trend reversal, if indeed it is one, then a spiking is to be seen and experienced.
The guy is so close to the SL anyway that I feel that is worth keeping in view of the situation overall.
Thats my view.. and ermmm, it dont come with no guarantee haha
David
Agree but he asked for help so he is not in sync with his trade, in this situation instead of guessing and waiting to see, close it, preserve the cash, and re-enter after you see clear (despite the fact that I am sure 90% of traders-even pro- do not know what to do here as the dollar keeps dancing around and it is all about the dollar at the moment)
Yes, the trend is clear, sell the dollar and buy everything else...but other assets are overvalued right now...so risk-reward head to head...I am not a buyer of those assests class but I am not fighting the tape either...so I will stay on the sideline till we see what market will do in January 2010
so what Book did you Wrote or Wish I can Get in Free By Mail hehe
And I bet You will reorganize My Grammar Mistake
cheer.. Good night asia
My own grammar is far too crap to even contemplate determining someone elses Vincy!!
I find that it is always reason to smile at others attempts at communicating in a 2nd language but since English is my one and only then I always honour the fact that I nearly always know what someone means even if its abit "here and there" in its conveyance.
Once upon a time, when watching and figuring things out..
I heard this Voice that said:
"The clue is in the build up".
Looking at this, and bearing that in Mind, I wonder if where we are at is where in The Box the clue is??!!
That would suggest, if so, that we have another "top", some sideways movement, then a drop to incorporate a nasty looking spike before finally falling into definite Bear Territory.
We'll have to wait and see shan't we?!
David
.
PS.. It could be the spikey bit at 12h on the 2nd too

Once I heard that when markets move up with no volume....it is ready for a new fresh start....I heard that voice summer of 07...I used to buy dips....then I did not buy ....short home builders and went on my vacation...came back and it was all done....
We have no volume...and everyone is exited...DE JAVU again...
But really the voice once said, do not fight GS...excuse me...I mean do not fight the tape...

I dont know if You mean "Everybody is EXCITED" but I nearly mentioned that feeling in the air a little earlier.

There is certainly much apprehension.
David
Yes, EXXCITED...everyone is saying we are OK...
I can not short home builders again...so I bought gold too...can not short dollars because I do not trust the BEN gang...I can not buy euro and gbp ...they are as much as crap as the USD....
the voice is saying keep your AUD/USD ....but really how much China can buy commodities and everything else...?

Aha, thought You did.
The Aud/Usd is an anomaly to me. I know what its going to do but that could be ages. I'm going to wait and see how it reacts to the Dollar sell-off thats looming and maybe do some short termers.
Oh well Adam, with all those things that You can't choose for looks like lunch is definitely on You

That is my only position that keeps me thinking all the time...had since 170-171 averaged few times and sitting on a nice position with multi 10k of profit...usually I get out gradually...but do not want to miss the big candle that will come with the dollar last drop (January...March...June....who knows) and I will exit...but every dip proved to be a winner to add...but time to take some profit off the table (must admit....painful to let go lol ) wonderful to look at the bank statement afterward (does not happen a lot...but I did experience such a joy with my home builders short..

when you say short termers...you mean short it...
I am thinking to start shorting at 96-97 if we get there

Sure You must mean 0.70 / 0.71 my friend.
There are many people with very long positions I gather, where they are siting on large unrealised profits..
I got told a little while ago to "dont give Your gifts away" so had better play my cards a bit closer to my chest but one things for sure, when they start to get realised we'll see a pattern like my vision of it.
Looked more like railroad tracks than a trend channel
