Yes, that is what I was thinking. I think we could see the eur/usd below 1.30 before the trend truly changes

yesterday/today was a really good time for shorts. I already made ca. 100 pips on two positions. Nice 1H MACD div helped me to short the first position quite high (.3762). Now short biased and set a new sell stop at .3584

    Wink What now?

Well! It's been a Day, hasn't it? After the Euphoria of making More pips in one Day than I ever have, My pulse is almost back to Normal.
Now this is what I see, and I guess it doesn't take a Prophet to see it. The sideways movement of the past couple of Weeks seems to have been broken to the downside. It's now trading in about a 30 pip Range with a slight tilt to the South. It could takeoff at anytime towards the Antarctic and I don't wanna be left behind. So I'm placing an Short entry order at 1.3650. If it doesn't get filled tonight, I'll reexamine the situation tomorrow A.M.

Just looking back on My past trades, I see I haven't taken a Long position in 2010. Don't plan to either. Not yet anyway.

    Talking Way Out There.

I keep My stops pretty far out there. I've only been stopped out once in this three Month period. That teed Me off, because it reversed within 5 Pips and came back in My direction. I wouldn't think of suggesting this as a method to anyone else, but I'm comfortable with it.

Aw! Who am I kidding. Since that one time, I haven't used a Stop. I guess when the pain becomes to much to bear, I'll swallow My Gum and close the position.

I have been a Lucky Doofus!

    Hmmmm...

Eur/Usd has Weekly Support at 1.36001 slightly rising; and Daily Resistance dropping down from 1.367
Right now it's inside of slightly bullish Descending Triangle.
    Buy.

In reality though, I did the almost the same thing with a small Long position Myself a while ago. Luckily I was making Pips on other positons. So My account continued to grow. Finally on a retrace, I bit the Bullet and closed it for a loss. Don't let Your Ego get in the way of doing the smart thing.

P.S. Good Morning All here in The States. Let's have a good Day selling this Puppy.
lol yeah its pretty wild. We have all been there at one point in our trading careers. I tell ya, theres a few trade i remember from long ago that make me cringe, holding on to a loser while my Equity plummets into the abyss. No way would i let that happen today. He hedged on some of his positions i think. I know he is long on E/U, E/J and G/J and must be down a bundle but he is fixed on the idea that his EA is correct. I learned long ago that if your going to be successful in this business, you need to put in the proper work, no short cuts.

Bill, it's so nice to have you in this room. Almost every time I checked the site, I found a post from you that made me smile. If you want to admire your charts, try this attached template. Just don't be so mesmerized that you forgot to trade

Edit: it's a template file for MT4 platforms. If you are using FXCM as your broker, it also offers MT4 platform, and it's much greater fun than MarketScope.

    Cool Pretty

It's a work of Art. Looks like a digital terrain scan for a topographic map.
