Here you go A-yo and Colly, using an hourly chart. Where am I wrong? I need your TECHieness...lol
Sorry for the delay Money. Within a impulsive 5 waves up or down, waves 1,3,5 are made up of 5 smaller waves. So near the end of the impulsive 5 waves, just before a retrace or reversal, you should see five waves that makes up the 5th wave. Unfortunately, the 5-wvr before the reversal/retrace can impulsive(non-overlapping) or corrective(overlapping, wedge, ending diag). Corrective waves are made up of three wave movements. Corrections can end with just three wave structure(WYZ) before a reversal/retrace. So instead of seeing five waves before the start of a reversal/retrace within a impulsive wave structure, it's possible to see just three waves before reverse/retrace within a corrective wave structure. I think I confused myself, lol. Fig1 shows an impulsive 5 waves up, then reversal in abc fashion. Well just before the turn/reversal, the last leg up,5th wave, should be broken into five waves, clean(no-overlap) or dirty(overlap). Looking at the corrective structure(abc) after the reversal, the pic shows 5 waves for w(a), 3 waves for w(b), then 5 waves for w(c). But for complex corrections(WYZ) all three legs(abc) can be made up, 3 waves for w(a), 3 waves w(b), and 3 waves for w(c). Unfortunately, the rally from the very bottom, is a complex correction(my wA, Colly's w(a) of C of w4 triangle, Stan's w1 of A/C?, PG's ?, nopain's ?), so we might see five or three waves at the end of this rally.
