Hmmm, This is a daily on the EUR/USD. Price is back below the 25 EMA and the MacD histogram hints at further losses. SSI has just flipped to net long. US news is bad for stocks yet FOMC is saying no changes. -

But economists/analysts anticipate no changes.
However, the important part will be in what they seem to hint about the future.

Yes they will say no changes, but they will change the way they phrase it. Meaning, changes to come sooner than later. (good for the Buck).
Jaime just said the SSI went positive. This makes Me feel much more comfortable with My shorts. -

Dead Cat
I don't see much of a dead cat bounce with traders on both side of the pond watching their teams play footy! Wait for the action around FOMC... Euro to drop to 1.2150 odd me thinks.

Yeah, it could become a bit dull between now and the FOMC...then the volatility may return.

I would keep an eye on the ten year bond yield too and see if it breaks out of its wedge, the dollar may follow. I think the Fed's main concern is the credit markets but they look at the stock markets too

A-Yo Bro A convincing break could spell eur weakness, whether long or short.

Deadcat
Hi Sean - thanks for the welcome. I've been following your forum for the past 3 weeks and has been educating to read all the various views. I'm not that clued up on EW but it seems there is a belief in a euro rally once it falls a bit further. I'm of the view that this is a down week for the euro and stocks and a turnaround come Monday. Any thoughts guys?
