You probably want to add few more months on your weekly chart to give more edge on your trade. Long term traders probably will look for shorting opportunity on EUR/USD. if this level is broken on EUR/USD, not only 1.47 but also we're looking at break above 1.50. Unless you're holding your position for months, use daily or 4 hr chart for trend direction. --- then again what do I know, I'm not an analyst - just regular trader like you.

GL everyone
Not always... overlap session between NY & London is the best. When it's "ugly," the trade is don't trade.

Hiya, I think you probably know and have more experience than I do, so many thanks for the feedback / advice!
Near term I was thinking of going short at 1.457ish.. (depending with what momentum price approaches that level)

All the best!
Hi.
vvI don't trade EUR/USD often, but 1.457 could be good idea to go short. March 1995 high is 1.4535. Well even 1.4480 may be possible top for short term

Nothing has failed boys and girls 2 likelihoods here both come with a similar type of math and it goes a little like this (name the song that line comes out of )
I just stopped back home for a moment or 2 to see how things were progressing so I will give you the short version.
We will be hitting 1.440 maybe even 1.4380 then wave 5
the 1st scenario we hit it now and do 5 right away
or scenario 2 this is only A and we do a B and then C back down after awhile and then 5, either way every wave 5 has its time
Pick your poison and choose it carefully. gonna work a bit more then will be back to play
Spartan Yah it took the long route and I have 1.4398 but first have to get past 1.4424 which I think it will.
Jaimie was saying 1.4350 but I don't know how he gets that unless this mess we are in is wave 1 and wave 5 finishing up now. I am not sure about that one though but it does stay within some other limits in my count so we shall soon see

i had that also for last night but i covered early at pivot. thought we might stay stuck in the mud for the day. got a long here from 144.25 just a scalp for 144.4
just look at a daily and 143.50 looks like a good spot for a long. we've moved up a nice bit over the end part of last week. gonna look over demand/support area's after the daily closes.
added a chart from yesterday thats probably what he has as count. wave 4.
