Brian, thanks for your vantage point! What is your favorite reading material on Ichi? I don't know it much at all so I will need to read up on it to understand the predictions and interpretations. Thanks again and I appreciate you sharing your perspective.

Rocket, its my pleasure and I can honestly say that i don't have anything for you particularly for Ichimoku. I skimmed around on the internet for a couple of days learning about it and I still do occasionally. But mainly I learned all the signals and lines and applied it with Fibo to create my own system. The best way to learn an indicator is too learn all the signals, memorize them, and then start to stare at it as it evolves with price action. Everyone sees everything different and before long you will be picking out your own signals and noticing your own little "tricks of the trade". When Im researching an indicator I open up a separate chart and watch that indicator when my own signals go off to see if it would have benefit me in anyway.

    funny

I know this is not a stock forum but I saw this on ZeroHedge (a bit of a dangerous place) and it's just too funny not to post.

"Stocks off just shy of 1%, which erases most of yesterday’s gains, which erased most of Monday’s losses. After tomorrow, will you be able to say that Thursday’s gains erased most of Wednesday’s losses, which erased most of Tuesday’s gains, which had erased most of Monday’s losses? With apathy running high and conviction low, that sounds just as reasonable as anything else."

This a little brief.....Pulled off a nice bullish trade tonight myself but didn't film it. Overall a very fruitful day. This week has been especially nice actually! No down days for 6 days in a row. I wonder how long this streak will last! Only one bad trade all day! I love this market! I really, really do. I sure hope the Europeans don't screw up and implode. This is an extremely good currency to trade! Good night everyone!

Google "Basics of Ichimoku Trend Based System. wmv" and you'll get gobs of videos to watch.

What is it that you technical traders can see that I don't. Spain, Greece, Italy and whole of Europe are in such a dire state and yet the euro still shoots up. What is hidden from us which I am not seeing?

its in a short term uptrend - makes sense to buy near lows while this trend continues - for short term traders anyway

when we get stopped out we can then look see for opertunities to go short

the line in the sand seems to be 12440 - we may head back down near there before break higher or we may not - i just trade what i believe the most probable direction is and expect to get stopped out on a regular basis

price will do what it does - don't expect it to do what you want it to do all the time - just because you think it should

this is not about being right - its about being right often enough to make money depending on your risk/reward ratio

nothing is hidden - you just havent spent enough time learning to trade - if you stick at it long enough it will make more sense

if your strategy is hang on the shoulder other peoples trades, you may win at the beginning - but i suspect the strategy will not succeed in the long term

    - just my view on things -

(Fundamentals) For Me personally, I see Questions and Not present situations. Ask Yourself 6 months from now if Greece exits will the Euro be stronger or weaker etc....
Plus I am mostly a Tech-Guy and I rely heavily on my Indicators, for present situations and not current fundamental News .....but don't that wrong news is important!!
