COT positionings are at extreme ends, there will be violent reversal any day any hour sending EUR, GBP, AUD up by long candlesticks... This is time to bet USD weakness. The annual bear season for US stock markets has began and will continue until end of october which will be bad for USD. Hence the anti-USD currencies bulls will rule for another two months...

4805 looks to be resistance to me, which isnt too far off. however, lots of pressure to the downside IMO. i think as long as we close above 4720 we could see another test of 4800. with that in mind we have some possible bad data from the eur due tonight. loads of bad news over here in the US today yet we see no real $ weakness. that always amuses me.

Pippin was (almost) right. He was calling for 1,4820's and then 1,4650. The first target was was (almost) hit, and its highly likely the second one will (almost) be hit as well.

    Hit 'm hard, Pippin!

I still cannot see dollar going higher, but its not going lower either. So I have to stay out. EUR GBP is maybe worth a check. The daily in particular.
    Have a good one, all.
    Cheers.

Tja, Gulden, everyone keeps asking: "Where is it going to go, where is it going to go?" and I tell them, here and there and I guess I am not telling them what they want to hear. However, I got about 150 pips in my pocket, between the EUR and GBP lost a little on the Aussie, but all in all not a bad day.
So, next time I'll be happy to take aalllll those pips for myself again. No props bro!

However, we are in a crucial stage. I expect this to drop a little more.
But I don't think it will drop as much as I hope it will. 1.47 seems solid support, especially with oil up a bit.

so if i can endure another -50 pips could it potentially retest 4808 tonight/today?
    Thanks in advance, hate liquidating

I prefer the bull side and will try enter long at around 1.4750 with stop loss at 1.4690. Last week close showed usd bull lost steam, there should be considerable correction up to above 1.4900 or even 1.500. But it is still possible to go down to below 1.4700 agian before the up move.

Dude, didn't you have a stop on that trade? Why not close the position and figure a new trade, fresh for tomorrow?

Don't try to cover your losses by holding to a failed position. Close it with a loss, take notes on what went wrong and get on to the next one

I know it hurts to be wrong, but what doesn't kill you (or in this case your account..) makes you stronger.

a few closed trades using 1 13 62 (SMA's) to show that this system works for me most of the time. I don't use stops, just set limits as this market moves to fsat and furious with many pip changes for getting stoped out. I monitor it closely as to know when it is not in my favor to hold. But the charts tell the real story as to where it is heade most of the tie using all charts in the 1 5 15 30 hrly and the daily for direction for the most part?

    Thanks again Man!!!!!!!!!!

    caps out...

Nobody can say with certainty where the market will go next, we can only make a best estimate.
In my count, we will see 1.47 before we see 1.48.

The EURUSD is in a complex situation right now. I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who can make perfect sense out of the current situation.
But with USDJPY and USDCHF forecasted to move up, EURUSD will likely go down.
