Thumbs up IMPORTANT READ

ECB press conference and US jobs due at the same time (12:30 GMT), with Trichet expected to talk more about last weeks 1-yr auction (EUR-negative. We expect payrolls at -425K, worse than the expected -375K and unemp rate at 9.3%, which could end up further propping the dollar on deepening risk aversion. Oil falling for the third straight day (longest string of losses since Apri), risking to breach below $66 and onto 64.90. USDCAD seen regaining 1.1580 and 1.1620. EURUSD seen testing 1.3880 and cable at 1.6270

EURJPY

What do yo guys think about shorting the EURJPY here? I am getting a little nervous about the equity markets. Some of the sentiment indicators I follow show downside.

Agree! I am also looking to short EU and EJ.
Within 3-4 minutes after report is released, I will cover and go long.

You see it may break all thinkable supports - after return to the channel, long from 48

Shorting at 1.4071

My bias has changed and I'm shorting at 1.4071, the Bearish Crossover has broke the Kumo Cloud S/R and heading south so far.

However I'm still not sure about the possible Exit, will wait and watch for further action.

:)

Neither do I mate

I was possibly thinking about much earlier exit than that since I'm shorting more positions than usual (just to book some quick profits and get out)

I might come out at 1.399 rather

Closed my short

I just closed my short for 30 pip scalp.

I just dont like how it did not follow thru 1.40. With a result like that -467 K, I was expecting Euro to drop at least 100 pips after the announcement.

And what is Trichet saying in his Press conference , does someone know ?

On the side and waiting for direction !
Good Trading to all !

Sam !
