What a week

It has been a great week so far and specially the last 2 days. I'm out from the USDCHF (Long) trade as well. Although, its not a valid exit signal (technically) since the Bearish Crossover has been much above the Kumo cloud but since its the last day before the long-weekend I had no choice but to close this trade.

Good luck once again ...

Hi Ash! Have a nice weekend as well!
A little bit upset of $ night breach..
Now waiting to short high untill 13.00 GMT to help EURO draw perhaps double bottom? Last week it did it regularly. The half of the day enough to get to the bottom
Yours suggestions?

Guessing

Hi Icefox,

As far as I can see the EUR seems to be in a tight range and looks like its not going anywhere since people have already got into the long weekend mood. But I can be wrong and rather wait and watch.

My 4H Ichimoku chart (best friend I call it) is showing quite a Bearish picture in longer term and even on 1H the Kumo cloud is well below 63 EMA.

So overall I'll remain bearish on EUR until a major event changes our Bias. It will be interesting to see what the senior members on this forum think.

Have a nice weekend, time to have a good sleep tonight

Cheers,

Sorta starting to move... if it can break 1.3960 should hit 1.3900, possibly lower

Im not the most advance trader, but I use Weekly charts to check how the Weekly candle closed and open, and also to find R/P/S levels and retracement levels for that week or previous weeks,
Im more likely to make a deal on a daily candle tho

Volumes in weekly charts, sometimes the picture is more clear in weeklys than monthly

What charting softwear do you use that shows volume, I use FXCM trade station and it doesn't show volume it can be frustrating.

Get yourself a demo of Ninjatrader, then see the difference it makes to your trading once you're familiar with it. I use Ninja along with my broker's platform, as that doesn't have volume either.

What Next ?

As I said earlier, it was a great week after a long choppy session, I made around 600+ pips in the course of last 3 days by mainly from EUR, GBP, AUD and CHF. Keeping myself away from the JPY for sometime ... CHF dropped yesterday after the CPI fall.

As you can notice on the chart I've posted, the Exit Signal has not been generated as yet (Chikou Span far away and well secured from the Kumo Cloud), however my personal self-imposed rule of not keeping trades alive when its a long weekend forced me to exit early yesterday.

Good luck for the next week ...

Yah, looks like Fiber will go long anyway. Cable will gently meander up the hill with her. Like the Ichimoku Analysis.
