I believe salsa uses saxo, he isn't here tho... no drastic moves atm, not to worry, EURUSD is creating a tiny breakout triangle in the one min.

thanks dennice for the information.
i placed a sell order against my position 72. at 84.
seems a big trap is coming in euro. even if it goes to 5860 don't surprise.
feel like same as yesterday..selling at higher level and accumulate at lower level
later a big move later all will be in cue to cut the short.

Oh im here! Watching over you guys, like a hawk, stealing good ideas

Saxo works fine atm, but yes, update was running yesterday i remember. Could be your problem, e.g. if your firewall hasnt mentioned the change and just blocks it. Happened to me once. Reinstalled the firewall and it worked again..

On for euro, i actually closed my shorts for small profit. I have come to the conclusion that i dont like having open positions when i am off the screen. You might think it hurts my profit potential, but it hurts my life beyond trading even more (family, friends, GF, etc..) as i will think of the trade and check the newest charts on my cell phone all the time. Kind of an addict!

So, my promise is hereby stated "Thou shall not trade when you are not able to act.."

But on for some action now! not much to report... boooring. Recent smaller downmove a result of ugly bearish gartley in the 1min chart, can also be spotted in 5min chart. My prophecy: Range trade until the news are out.

Okay, i've a small short at 5774 looking for a break of 5765. Next support 5760, then 5745 where my buy order is waiting as well as my TP for my short, will hold on to short if no signs of stopping.
Another buy order waiting at 5732.

SP, I wonder if you draw butterfly and bat in your cell phone as well
Perhaps also teach your GF to draw?

LOL?

Anyway, here is what formed atm. Bullish Garley in 15min chart. Trading it carefully entry at 1.5771, with tight hedge at 1.5760, as it could form a bigger pattern. Looking for target beyond 1.5800, but not higher than 1.5825..

/Salsa

Updates:

7:02GMT - after upmove, hedge moved to 1.5774...
7:09GMT - trade closed, taking 13 pip profit
7:23GMT - Looking to buy again if it reaches 1.5769

Hey mellon, just curious. What support levels are you using to determine your stops? TLs, fib%?

Hi SP,

It's a combination of TL and fib% in this particular case. Also it has to obey the rule that TP should be at least 2x the SL.

From 4 hour chart TL, price should be above 1.567 at the bottom.
From daily FIB, 61.8% retracement from 1.561 - 1.5801 should also be above 1.567.That's why I set it to be 1.567. I am a swing and intraday trader, don't like to keep open position for too many days.

Ahh, nice nice. I see. You could say that i am using fib levels as well, just in the pattern formations that i am looking for. However, not familiar with the appliance of TLs. Still learning to figure proper support and resistance strength out..

Now this is funny. Missed the move by 0.6 pips, LOL. Will wait and see when pattern formation is done. Bearish butterfly in 15min chart ending possible around 1.5805 and 1.5815. A higher move, to around 1.5823, would complete a huge bearish bat in the 4H chart
