I had a bad day yesterday but last night almost brought me back to where I was before the losses. Still a ways to go, but I am grateful.
no more questions for you guilder after your last one good thing I didn't listen and got a little cash out of that drop.

Petrus, I posted a huge chart just two or three posts before this. There is an arrow there, and I put in all the price at the end of each arrow so that it's easy to see.

Heavily oversold, and heavily overdone.
As if its all doom and gloom in the EZ and hosannah in the US.
Now I am not saying we have seen the bottom, but we are near. Cant see it moving to this 1,47 or whatever objective just like that.
Looking for 1,5050-60 to get some in. Small only, since its a bit against the prevailing trend.

Petrus, any seasoned trader will warn you against trying to pick a top or bottom....wait for a trending move instead...when an important level is broken, watch for a change of trend. We've been in this range since April and the bottom of it has just fallen off...traders have been itching to short the pair to test 1.40 for ages.

Hi Guilder... 1,47 is definitely not today, but it's actually not too unlikely in the next week or two. You are good if you are buying at 15050-60.

Yes, over here everything is honky dory!
Trichet said that the Euro run has ended and that it's best days are over. That means that everybody is letting go of their longs.
I see 1.50 as a major support and 4970 is the 61.8% retracement of 1.43 to 1.60 and that (1.43) is where the big move up started.
So, we are bottoming out. Then everybody will reassess their positions.

Im flat after losses, got some sleep and licking my wounds. I start to believe that we will see 1.4921 today and expect position squaring if we get there. I will go long there, shorts at this level today I could not stomach.

The trick is to wait the price meet ur limits, instead of one jumping in.. however scalps is a totally different scenario and is not everyone's cup of tea

I'll help myself and keep it tight. I am still thankfull that I sold my longs at 1,5320 last nite, and I will do exatly the same today if I need to.
Price action is more of a guide to me then TL or overbought, to be honest. So I need to see it coming my way in the next 30 to 60 minutes. If not, I will sell again.
GL.

Bigger picture: yes, the euro bull run is over. But that does not mean the euro will be sold short. We are establishing new ranges whereby anything like 1,5350-1,5500 will be the top.
And yes, we are aiming for 1,47-1,49
GL.
