This is not exactly true.
We released long time ago, immediately with your first Order2GO beta version our HyperServer Lite.

HyperServer aims to link FXCM Feed directly into TradeStation 2000i and MetaStock Prof RT

I think this can be good info for all TS users.

"Unable to launch FXCM trading station"

Hi adminstrator,

I last launched the JAVA FXCM trading station few months ago. Back then it was OK.

Today I launch and after installing the updates i got the error prompt "Unable to launch FXCM trading station". The detail error message is as below.

Fyi, I CAN access fxcm.com and dailyfx.com at work but I cannot access fxcmtr.com at work as it is BLOCKed. I am using IE and I did not notice any popup blocker.

Please help to resolve.

Thanks
Kevin

ASCII output

Thank you for this very useful addon! It works perfectly.

I am currently looking for a backfill solution that works together with the DDE. Do you think it is possible to get the data in ASCII TXT format out of the Order2Go and have it saved in a .txt file? I would then run the software on my 20/7 dedicated server and whenever I need I could download it from there.

Do you have any other working solution for this? Getting the backfill data from a third-party source is out of question as I need to see the exact data I'm trading on. If you know what I mean .

DDE and Vista

This has not been tested internally at FXCM. If you have Vista, please let us know if you have any issues using the application.

Greetings, I downloaded the Order2GODDE because I was informed that I could use it to make a web application that grabs the price info for each currency pair and store the information in a mysql database.

Question 1: Is this possible? Creating this web application using the order2goDDE source that automatically updates the database.

Question 2: Has anyone tried this before or can anyone help me with coding, specifically the part that connects to an SQL database and runs sql commands from VB.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, your help would be appreciated.

table question

Sorry if I am asking a dumb question, but how do I make an historic-to-present price table in Excel using DDE data? The DDE link works in an individual cell, of course. So, for example, after five minutes of tick data, I want it to move down one row and complete a new row in the spreadsheet.

Unfortunately there is no pre-made solution for that. You would need to use something like Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in excel to program that kind of advanced functionality into excel.

Hello Sir,
You remember me Rakesh, deCODE Technologies over getafreelancer.com
I bid their for your trading system project.
Sorry to contact here. There was not any option to answer you anymore. I've one question for you.
1) What problem you found with us- understanding, communication, rates etc?

Next Thing as you've send one file of data as AUD.CAD??? to me. We've created one small program on excel to upload and arrange the data automatically if you place the data file in same folder where excel file is placed. This file may help you. This file is bit slow but if the same thing is done through software it won't be slower. Further, calculations were remained as we thought we'll do it after getting bid. Anyway, this file is no more useful for us, so by thinking of your use we're sending it to you.
I really felt great while communicating with you.
Good day!
Thanks & Regds,
Rakesh Kumar

You may be able to obtain these through third party software providers that are able to get a DDE feed into TradeStation 2000i. Evan though DynaStore cannot connect directly to our accounts, it may still work with DDE. Otherwise you could look at a product like MetaServer from http://www.tssupport.com/addons/ms/.

Question Missing File

If you know why, your reply much appreciated. O2GDDE.exe will not open because a file MSVBVM60.dll cannot be found.

It seems like you are missing MSVBVM60.dll in your system32.

Please unzip the attached file and paste the dll file into:
C:\WINDOWS\system32
