[Java Trading API] Java FX Trading Station

JAVA FX Trading Station

Description
This is a fully functional JAVA version of the FXCM FX Trading Station
utilizing the Java Trading API.

* Please bear in mind that FXCM does not currently provide active support for this platform. We offer it because we understand the need for a Java based application both for individual traders and as an example to illustrate what options we provide to developers. Although members of FXCM’s staff cannot support this product at present, any questions or comments can be posted on the forum located at fxprogrammers.com. It is also important to note that this platform has not gone through the same qualitative analysis and testing that our windows based platform has and therefore we cannot be held responsible for errors that may occur while trading. We strongly suggest that you keep this in mind while using the platform.

Additional Information about Java Trading Platform Problem

Gael, in order to help solve the problem, could you please answer the following questions:

1. Does you login work when using the Trading Station II? If not, have you tried another login. You can generate a new demo login to try at:
http://www.fxcm.com/open-free-100k.jsp
2. What country are you located in? It may be an issue with regional settings.
3. Does the rest of the Java Trading Platform work correctly? i.e. the account, trades, closed trades etc

Regional Settings

This seems to be an issue caused by Regional Settings. The development staff is currently looking into it.

Please go to http://www.java.com to download the latest version of Java onto your computer.

If that does not still help, please post the error message you are receiving when you try to open the java platform.
