Trade alerts

Would I be able to set up trade alerts when certain indicators/oscillators hit certian price points. Such as, when K crosses D in Slow Stochastics, would I be able to set up an alert that will go out when this happens.

Thanks!!

Please view the first post in this thread. It shows an example of sending alerts to a mobile user using an ISP provided email address.

Note: Yahoo only allows use of their smtp service on a paid account. If you do not have a paid yahoo account, there are other free email alternatives. One such alternative is: http://www.gmail.com/

After a quick look at that provided link to your mobile service, it seems in order for you to send SMS, you are required to contact your service provider.

Please visit the following link for their instructions:

Hello,

Occassionally when I startup the program just after typing my password and hitting the Ok buttong I get a reply box with the word "ERROR'. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. Anyone know why this error is generated?

Thanks!

Within the error window, what is the message that is written? When do these occur?

Tried several times to download Alerter.zip but it won't download. Is there an alternate link?

I have just attempted to download from the posted link on the first post of this thread and there does not seem to be any error downloading. As a reminder, you must be logged in on the forums before you can download the .zip file.

Please attempt to download it again.

If you continue to experience issues with the download, what is the error message that you are getting?

I uninstalled my download manager and the file was downloaded and installed. When an alarm price is reached is there supposed to be an audible alarm, or a window popping up? The Delete tab at bottom doesn't seem to have an effect. Clicking Edit tab doesn't bring up the currency with green line. It always brings up EUR/USD.

The alerts are sent via email (first you must configure the email settings) and the GUI main window interface will update with a alert line, showing the alert details.

When you press the Edit button, it will bring up a small window with editing options. You will have to select the rule name from the dropdown window on top and then modify the settings to what you wish them to be.

With the Delete tab, you must select the rule name you wish to delete from the dropdown menu.

Confirm the changes and they will take effect.
