Please make sure it's "SMTP" instead of "SMPT". Looks like you are using the wrong SMTP address.

Also, the address should be "smtp.gmail.com". Please use port 465 and enabled SSL.

The alerter works really well. Can you enable multiple emails addresses, or is only one email allowed? Thanks.

For multiple email addresses you can use comma separated formatting.

Example:

email1@gmail.com,1234567890@vtext.com

Hi, I am familiar with programing however I don't qualify to receive the API.
I do have the code that does this operation. If any programmers that have the API want I can provide the mql code so u can port it to a java app.

I plan to use ordertogo to create an ind/scripti for the MarketScope platform but my main interest is the java equivalent. I mainly operate in the Linux environment so I prefer to have a java ap that can allow me to do this.

It's going to take me a while to build my account to 25K

You can contact me at xmess777@yahoo.com

Suggestion for improvement

I am using the alert with great success. The most commendable thing is its reliability, will never miss any activity. To further improve reliability, I've put it on Virtual Private Server (VPS) and pinned to startup menu, so that it is running all the times. But if the VPS is rebooted (though rarely), the program runs again, as it is tagged to startup menu. But it halts when it prompts for username and password.

My suggestion is that there should be a checkbox at startup screen. If checked, it should save username and password, and should not ask for these details. And hence the restarting of the computer or VPS will restart the application as well

Perhaps have it hosted at a more forex geared vps and run a program which emails/pings you on reboot?
