Best API for Backtesting Strategies

Hi!

I am looking for an API which will allow me to back test my strategies before I apply them to my account.

I have noticed that the only API that seems to really fit (from its description) is the Price Engine SDK but it seems not to be available to the individual user.

What options are available to me?

Regards,
David

The "GetPriceHistory" function from Order2Go COM API also allows you to retrieve historical price data.

How do I get historical price data

I've been on the chat facilities for FXCM. They sent me here, and I don't know where to go to get the Price Data. I've been using Market Scope on the platform, but it takes entirely too long.
