Hello pg79, and thank you for your post!

Where can I find the Traders Dynamic Index custom indicator?

The MarketScope 2.0 (Market Scope Charts FAQ) charts offer over 35 indicators right out of the box, but some strategies may need a more specialized set of indicators. Not to worry! A website dedicated to custom MarketScope indicators is available with over 250 indicators that are free to download! Please follow the simple steps below to add the Traders Dynamic Index custom indicator onto your charts.

Step 1: Using your web browser, please navigate to FXCodeBase.com or click here

Step 2: Click on the Custom Indicators tab at the top of the website

Step 3: Find the indicator that you would like to use by either browsing through the forum posts or using the "Search" tool. Please enter the name of the indicator that you are looking for and then click on "Search".

Step 4: Navigate to the indicator that you are looking for and then Download it by left clicking on the file name ending in .lua and save this to a place on your computer that you will remember, such as a folder on the desktop. There are two different indicators that I found that may be the one that you are looking for. Those two indicators are show below.

If you are not able to navigate to the files, you can find the first one by clicking here, and then second one by clicking here. If you are still having trouble, I have also attached the indicators to this post for your convenience.

Please view the next post for further instructions, or click here.

How can I load my new custom indicator onto my charts in MarketScope 2.0?

Now that we've download a new custom indicator, getting it loaded onto your charts is quick and easy! For the purposes of this example, I will show you how to load the TradersDynamicIndex.lua custom indicator. You can follow the same steps to load the AnalyzeTradersDynamicIndex.lua indicator and any other custom indicator as well.

Step 1: Please click on "Insert" on the top left hand corner of the MarketScope 2.0 charts and then click on "Add Indicator".

Step 2: The "Add Indicator" window will appear. From there please click on "Manage" in the upper right corner.

Step 3: The "Manage Custom Indicators" window will appear. From there please click on "Load" on the bottom.

Step 4: Navigate to where you originally saved your new custom indicator, select the file, and click on "Open" to import your new indicator.

Step 5: Please click on "Close" from the "Manage Custom Indicators" window to return to the "Add Indicator" window. Scroll down to the "Other" indicators section, select your new indicator, and click on "OK".

Step 6: Select your parameters accordingly and then click on "OK" to apply your new indicator to your chart!
