How to manage different strategies at the same time
I have a strategy that I would like to run on my LIVE account, and I have serveral strategies that I would like to test run on DEMO account first.
What should I do? Does 1 instance of Strategy Trader support at max 1 account? So to test different strategy, i'll have to set up multiple demo accounts?
This is the correct setup?
instance 1 of Strategy Trader --(manage)--> run profitable strategy on live account
instance 2 of Strategy Trader --(manage)--> run experimental strategy 1 on demo1 account
instance 3 of Strategy Trader --(manage)--> run exp. strategy 2 demo2 account
Any setup that can minimize the instance being run on the PC? (i don't want the PC to be frozen)
Thank you for posting. In this case you will need 3 instances of ST with 3 different login. Please keep in mind that you can only open one instance of ST with one login in a PC. That means you need three PC to achieve that.
The alternative is to use Virtual Machines, VMWare ESXi hyper visor is free and widely supported.
interesting information. i was thinking of the same thing sometme back.
Looks good cheer · ·
