Yes, this is definitely what I needed, thank you so much!
But anyway,I really think you should give some appeal on developers to make it automatically as is usual.

How can I remove the list of indicators on the top left site of my Marketscope charts

On the top left side of Marketscope charts there is a list of indicators and on top the name of the template. I have about 10 lines of text here and a lot of times I can't read the amount of pips of a running trade.

Personally I know which indicators I am using and there is no need to have 10 lines of text here, because it is more of a burden instead of a help for me.

Is there a way I can choose to not show this block of text lines, without deleting the indicators running on the chart? I already searched high and low and tried some things, but all I got were removed chart elements.

    Hi liberum!

To delete indicators names from the left side of Marketscope, please double click on the indicator label. In the appeared Indicator Properties window remove the tick in the 'Show legend' check-box. Click apply and the indicator name will disappear.

You can also do the same action when inserting a new indicator on the chart.

    Best regards,

    Thanks a lot!

Now I removed all indicators/chart elements text from my chart, there is only one line remaining: The name of the template

Is there an easy way to delete this also from the charts?

    Hi liberum!

Is there an easy way to delete this also from the charts?
Yes, sure it is! To remove template label from the chart, please right-click on the label. In the appeared drop-down context list choose 'Hide Legend' option.

If you would like to get the label back, just right-click anywhere on the chart and in the appeared drop-down context list choose ' Show Legend'.

    Lightbulb Lines in Marketscope 2.0

    question about marketscope

i used to do charts in "powercharts java application" but for some reason it refuses to work and i've tried reinstalling and all that for quite a while now. So i changed my mind and decided to start plotting in marketscope. i usually use TL's (trend lines) to plot my charts, but i faced a problem, that the extension of a trend line drawn is always dotted, and i can't seem to find it anywhere in options to make it solid all the way. it all makes it really hard to view charts. and in addition, is there a way not only to make Lines extensions solid, but to make them not to dublicate on different time frames ?

    thanks in advance

Hello Screwdriverr, and thank you for your post!

Is there any way to change the style of the extension of a trend line in Marketscope 2.0?

At this time there is not. I would try to amplify the width of the line or change the color of the line. Try that is see if it helps.

Is there any way that I can have trend lines stay on one time frame only?

If you're working on the same chart any trend lines you draw will be visible across all time frames as you flip through the periods. The best thing to do if you don't want that to happen is to look at more than one chart at the same time (Market Scope Charts FAQ).

Although we don't have exactly what you're looking for at this time, we do appreciate all feedback from our clients. You can most certainly submit any requests at anytime to us. I have forwarded your input to the appropriate department to see if we can add the options you mentioned to the Trading Station platform in the near future.

Is there any other way that I can have my suggestions added to my platform?

    Chart overlay

I would like to use the overlay function in marketscope. The problem I am having is when I scroll back the chart to view past history the line shift causing invalid results. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Hello myke3295, and thank you for your post! On behalf of myself and everyone here at FXCM, welcome to the forum community!

Why does it look like the Price Overlay function on Marketscope 2.0 is shifting as I zoom out of the chart?

When you zoom out of the chart the data you're seeing for the Price Overlay doesn't change; it's just scaling to the zoom of your chart. For example if you take a look at the image below the Bid price for the USDCHF on 03.06.2013 closed at 0.94848.

If you zoom out on the chart the Price Overlay will scale according to the zoom but the data won't change.

How Can I Lock the Chart Timeline?

I'm using a laptop with a touch pad. If I accidentally touch the far right of the pad (scroll), it changes the time-frame or number of candlesticks displayed per section on the chart, either increasing or decreasing them as the timeline expands or contracts. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Went through all of the Options menu with no success. To clarify: if I'm displaying a m30, 2 hour chart, I want to lock the 2-hour time-frame being displayed so it can't be accidentally be changed via an inadvertent swipe of the touch pad.

    Thanks.

Hello GreySwan, and thank you for your post!

How can I prevent accidentally expanding or contracting the zoom of the chart with my touch pad?

At this time there isn't any way to disable that function through the options available on the Trading Station / Marketscope 2.0 directly. In order to prevent that you'll need to disable the scrolling function of the touch pad of your computer.
