    Thanks for your post!

    Does FXCM have the ability to create a live public chat room for its traders to share ideas and trade setups?

    Personally, I think the idea of a Live Trader Chat room is amazing. I am not sure how logistically it could work but I will forward your idea to our production team to see how feasible it would be to create. There are all sorts of things to consider however that may impede creating a public chat room. Moderating various chat-rooms would be difficult and not all users would use the chat room for good (i.e. spammers, 'web-trolls'). With that being said though, I really love the idea. I will try my best to see what can be done.

    Thanks again for the idea! Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

    Trading Station crashes

    Hello,
    Since yesterday, every time I open and login to the FXCM Trading Station the program closes, and although it reopen, a window is displayed inviting to send the crash info report to the following address: Production Support fxts@fxcorporate.com. An email is auto generated with several crash related files as attachments.
    I want to solve this crash problem, but the email bounces, as the email address is reported as nonexistent. Could I have the appropriate address so I could forward the email with collected crash info and have a review and solution to my problem?

    What e-mail client do you use?
    Could you please save the reg file and send it to support (at) gehtsoftusa dot com
    To save the reg file:
    1. On the Start menu, click Run.
    2. Type "Regedit" and click OK to open up Windows Registry Editor.
      Name:  1.PNG

    3. Navigate to "HKEY Local Machine > Software". Look for "Candleworks".

    4. Left click on the "Candleworks" folder to highlight it.
    5. On the top menu of the Windows Registry Editor window click File -> Export
    6. Type the file name and click Save.

    I use MS Outlook as email client.

    I couldn't find any archive/file called CandleWorks under: "HKEY Local Machine > Software.

    Instead, Could I forward the bouncing email to support@gehtsoftusa.com, with the collected files related to the crash problem which are self-attached to the bouncing auto-generated email?

    TS2 - Spread Betting Currency Platform -V- All in one Trading Platform

    How can I install both platforms on one computer?

    I have the All in one Trading Platform installed, and when I try to also instal the Spread betting Currency platform on the PC it says that the other platform will be unistalled.

    Is there a way around this?

    How can I install FXCM Trading Station II platform and FXCM Spread Betting platform on the same PC?

    Unfortunately it is not possible, but this is because they are virtually the same platform. You should keep the Trading Station II platform installed and login to it with your Spread Betting account login information. It will work just fine. If you want to login to both of your accounts at the same time, simply run and open Trading Station II twice from your desktop.

    TS2 - Going Slower and Slower

    I installed TS2 opened about 4-5 charts in MS2 with a few indicators and it just seems to be working more and more slowly, when I move the cross hairs on the chart it takes 2-5 seconds to respond and move with the mouse, very frustrating, Please advise?

    How do I keep Marketscope 2.0 from running slower and slower?

    This usually indicates that there is something wrong with the installation of the Trading Station II platform. It is possible this was caused by installing Trading Station II and attempting to install the Spread Betting platform. These platforms are so similar that they use a lot of the same folder names. Even uninstalling them might not remove all of the folders and this can cause issues like you are describing.

    I recommend uninstalling the Trading Station II and doing a registry edit to confirm that all FXCM related files are gone. Then you can reinstall the platform. For full instructions on how to do this, please click here (FXCM Trading Station II FAQ).

    Let me know if you run into any issues and if this fixes this slowdown error. 90% of the time it will do the trick.

    Sir Rob what if I wanted to keep Trading Station II and instead uninstalled the Spread Betting platform? do you have a guide as to how I can remove the registry entries of that platform from my computer?

    Thank you for posting on the forum.
    Let me answer your question.
    Actually Spread Betting and FXCM Trading Station are the same platforms. The difference is only in how the platforms look (skins, price panels, etc.).
    And it is not possible to install both of them on the same computer. So if you have FXCM Trading Station installed and then you install another platform, for example Spread Betting, your FXCM Trading Station will be automatically removed. That is FXCM Trading Station will be replaced by the Spread Betting platform.
    Installing of one platform over the other is the same as removing of an old platform (with saving your settings) and then installing a new one.

    Wow thanks for the info Natalya. I was so close to complaining to FXCM about why my Spread betting disappeared. Good thing I found this thread.

    Arrow CHANGING THE TIME?

    Hi,

    Im in Australia,Sydney and we have Daylite savings here, so my server time is 1 hour back.

    Can i Change that?
    Does FXCM market scope charts time use, New York Close Chart?
    And if i can change the time and FXCM market scope use New York Close Chart, Will it affect my chart?

    Thank you for posting on the forum.
    You can change the time displayed in FX Trading Station and Marketcope Charts using Options:
    1. In the FX Trading Station, go to the System menu -> Options
    2. In the options tree, select General Trading
    3. Select the option View format of time fields
    4. Set the option to Local

    Hello, I tried to close a position using a shortcut key ctrl+C and it didn't work, I'd also listed c as a close position on the shortcut keys pulldown and that didn't work either, any ideas to make it work?
