This has just come up :

1709The BBC's business editor Robert Peston says he has learned some of the likely elements of a joint Con-Lib economic and business policy. The £6bn of spending cuts promised this year by the Tories would go ahead, unless the economy were to dramatically weaken. The Tories would also adopt the Lib Dem plan to increase the tax-free allowance on income tax to £10,000. A meaningful initial rise in the allowance would come quickly, with a clear timetable announced to get to the full £10,000.

Thats nuts - the cost of that policy is £17bn... credit rating agencies are going to love that

Word has it Browns bags are packed, there is no chance of a lib/lab deal.
Seems to be viewed as very positive, eur/gbp falling fast, gbp/usd rising, testing 0.50 fib.

Yeah, wouldn't you hate it if the market rallied when they heard that you quit your job. haha. The market is giving him a slap in the face today it seems.

It still has to go. We've got a lot of female traders out there on the forums.

Don't want any half naked women or Chippendale dancers either.

    Keep it clean.

It's a done deal. Cameron is in, said Radio 4 (the most respected speech radio station in the country). Too bad the disgraceful wheeling-dealing Lib Dem would get a foot in. It just shows what a great joke democracy this is. The UK should really refrain from preaching to others about democracy.

MyWavez, if you are lurking somewhere. Do you still remember that Gann table you showed the other day, and I pondered if that 'young men becoming prominent' delivered Clinton in the last cycle and whether it would be Cameron this time. Looks like Gann is right again.

I'm checking for prices at 5021 for possible short. It equates to Daily PP R1@5012. Wave 3 or C@5030 would be 161.8 of wave A/1.

I've just added a bit more @ 1.4994 but all stops now hard at 1.5058 - that's my line in the sand

This could be a classic buy the rumour sell the fact.

    Blow me down, it worked.

Today was an important turning day based upon Gann's natural law.
They sometimes come a bit late, sometimes a bit early, but today it was right on time.

I had 400 pips locked in early this morning. (Eastern standard time) on GBP and EURJPY.

The consolidation could had very well been a wave 4 triangle. I'm in at 4991, the wave b expanded didn't want to to extend to 132.8@5013 or 161.8@5021. I tighten the stop to 4998 + 5pip spread =5003, just in case Mr.Market wants to give a better entry. We may get an initial bounce from the 23.6 of 4788-4991 rise. GL

Since there are no naked women on that one, that one is fine.
