    No worries mate

I'm glad that you've found a system that you're comfortable with. To be honest, the key is to stop hunting for the world's best system as there isnt any. Respect your system and your system will start respecting you soon.

    Cheers,

You're welcome mate. I was actually thinking about you and wondering if you're still holding those Long Positions ?

Or as your signature says, you've been hedging ?

Hey Ash, are you still bearish GBP/AUD? Given daily cross, it's up big.

I keep buying around 1.6220 area, no target, just keep buying as reckon cable up. 2 day chart support, and daily MACD can cross from here. Weekly chart support just keeps getting stronger as well. Can see breakout coming for the big up. 4 hour convergence ATR and momentum.

[QUOTE=Sean Hyman;399377]Yeah, I love how you can click the Research button at the top right of the trading station and go right to the site. It's also a great "one stop shop" for all types of analysis: fundamental, technical, Elliott Wave, Sentiment, etc. all in one spot which is nice too.

Hi Sean, I have a question. I use the MACD to help me on when to buy and when to sell. However noticed that i have been using teh system default which is at 12, 26 and 9.

Is that Ok since i noticed that people on this forum have a different one. Thanks and PS yes i do know that the MACD is not accurate enough and not the best one to use but it has worked for me for some time now. Thanks

Since many big institutions stick to the original settings you are using...I use the same (12, 26, 9).

The MACD is best used by taking the entry signal that is the same direction as the trend. That's a good rule with any indicator, but especially the MACD.

The Slow Stochastic (14,3,3 settings is what I happen to use) may get you in a trade slightly quicker but the MACD will keep you in a profitable trade a bit longer too.

    Hope this helps.

    GBP/USD
A whole lotta shakin' goin' on....
The pair wobbles to the edge of the abyss at 1.6200
We'll see a ripcord to 1.5800 after the FOMC rate decision.
Thick thunderclouds are forming on 4H and day-chart...
The bullish dollar is here to stay for a while I think.
    Short from 1.6237 -- stop 1.6350

This is NOT an advice but MY believe!
    Good luck
