hope evryone have a good weekend..
r1-14339, r2-144388, r3-145999
s1-14017, s2-13917, s3-137.563
Have short at the moment at 14368,, .. hope everyone catch the pips from gaps this morning.. now geppy still uncertain to move.. just let it be bcoz it monday guys.. like i said, monday pair will uncertain and will establish a pattern later..
btw, look at my point for today, we can see 2 critical level at 13917 and 13756, if we can hit this level today, then be carefull with strong bounce and i would say, maybe geppy try to establish his uptrend foundation at that level.. ..
if any 1H candle can closed below my P for today, then my target will be at 139.50 and my last target will be at 138.70.. and i would say the highest we can go for today at 14421..
happy trading guys.. see ya before NFP this week..

i just shorted from 143.7 too. 30min MACD shows a negative divergence. no confirmation as yet. Will add more shorts once confirmation on 3-EMA crosses 13-SMA and 31-EMA.
Good luck all and have a great trading week! looking forward to NFP this friday too
Add: closed my shorts at 142.4, re-entered short at 142.9 after 3ema crossed the 2 lines...target would be 141.8. I agree with what Mike said below...will definitely close my short before US open at least.

I'm a bit surprised as so many of you are going short..? Comments this morning from Jap Government here are looking to weaken the yen.. Dubai seems to be in the process of being patched up.. Went long at 142.90. S/L 139.90.. In the medium term, I can see this rise to about 147.00 (my target limit) - The yen in hurting exporters badly here, and Hatoyama is under HUGE pressure to get his finger out, and do something.. Meetings taking place with him and Fujii.. (very unusual)...
Money without brains is always dangerous....

i agree bro. but 147 is very far fecthed. ofcourse its forex so anything can happen. remember asia is doing good coz asia literally got kicked on friday. where as london and europe did good on friday bcoz by the dubai fears were subsided.

but once london opens its again back to reality. technically also 143 area is very stiff. we will see good resistance. and MACD on 15 mins is showing some awesome negative divergence.
i will not go long till it effectively breaks 145 area.
goodluck in ur longs.

Just closed from 143.62 at 143.12 for a 50 pip win. Still short other positions. I'll wait for another bounce and short again if we get it. If we dont get a bounce I am still happy because I still took a profit and you will never go broke taking profits.
I am trading light today and just grabbing quick pips since it is the beginning of the week.
I also agree with Coolfx on the Asia and the delay. London should get interesting and hopefully we see another drop for the geppy.

I think that was the bounce up at 143.29. The Euro just got wacked and if risk aversion sets in on the Euro the geppy will follow.

Hello Tanutamen, More profits to you and me! Can I ask you: is 135 long-term target? Would you recommend to buy GBP/JPY at 135?

If (and hopefully tonight) the 85.85 area of the USD/JPY is broken then that is when the Bears party is in full swing.

Personally would like to see Yen weaker as well, so wun be so expensive for me to get there :P
I'm out for now. Will return in US open or Japan open. Hope everyone made pips for today's trades.
