    Hi,

I am still holding my shorts from 144 and 143.6, all with SL at 145.3. Unless an hourly candle closes above 145, i would remain bearish until then. 145.3 is not based on the number that people say in the forum, but because it's the historical resistance of this pair.

I kind of understand that mr tigger is bullish, with positive macd cross and so on. And 4hour trendline is going up at the mean time. Then again would like to wait for confirmation before changing my overall bias.

This week isn't good for me, but that means next week will be a better week!

off for this week now. nights everyone/good day to those in usa

This still can fly up a couple of hundred pips if I'm right. I'm just watching this, and not trading. Would like to go short like most folk, but can't stand a couple of hundred against me. I really hate that....All JPY pairs still rising again, NZD/JPY, CAD/JPY, all following U/J. CHF/JPY jumped up again.

Next time my friend, look at the chart upside down. Print it out, and then decide if you are bullish or bearish. With 40 day MACD in place, JPY/GBP........where is this going to go short to? JPY/GBP and JPY/EUR is going short....

With U/J set to 100 easy......

the Pound is now weaker than the euro... so imagine the Euro is already weak from Greece problems, got some relief but now it the Sterling's place to get WEAK so any fall in Cross/Jpy , Gbp/Jpy will probably fall more, even compared with the commodities currencies... the effect of the UK's bad news... came later ...now ... the only things that brought this pair up was UJ, because GU was falling the whole time... 141.5 next

I see 100 points down on Dow today

I am confident for some reason...

If i am wrong, i think i will step out of the forum , one reason would be shame

does not exist no reason step out of the forum .your opinion for being very good each one it makes proportionally as you see him they is not reason for leaving. i when I came you I found for with it liked and your trial company but also all the other here in, you are all a lovable company, and if no such something I leave also i.

    Patience

I know its been looking bullish for you short traders out there, but I just want to encourage you to give it a little more time. There is a lot of resistance at 145, so you may all have the right idea. Also, the daily chart may be forming a fairly steep head and shoulders. On the other hand, failure of resistance to turn this around may precipitate huge gains on the buy side. As humans we get stuck in habits and fail to notice the big picture. If you made a lot of money on shorts, it is very hard to recognize a change in direction.

Possible count on GBP/JPY. See if it breaks the resistance and heads higher.

It would be bad advice to listen to Tigger's advice here when he doesn't seem to realize that there is no JPY/GBP but only GBP/JPY.

If GBP/JPY gave a buy signal then JPY/GBP (if it existed) would give a sell signal.

When someone thinks they gain an edge by something like this, it shows they are misled. I don't have a problem with someone misleading themselves but I hate to see them mislead others.

Keep trading simple. Look at the trend direction of GBP/JPY on the daily chart. You can use a 50 day or 200 day SMA to do this.

Then trade in that direction on whatever time frame you use. So if its an uptrend, then look for buy signals on the shorter time frames.

ABOVE ALL, use good risk management....low number of lots, wider stops but low enough number of lots per your capital to where you only risk no more than 5% of your account balance on any one trade.

So trading with the trend and good risk management is as close to the holy grail as it gets.

I did not even see that and it could have caused me a lot grief. I think you have just hit the nail on the head.

mag, not sure what you're talking about. Can you post a chart of what you're referring to so I can understand what you're seeing? Thanks.
