158 pips up from the daily open..
I've managed to take a meager 8.3 pips from the short side. The initial "pop and drop" scared the heck outta me. Looking at the wicks of some of these candles; I'd say this is a rather mean fight up.
Is that why they wanted the swap window reactivated???
Not sure - the swaps are mainly to provide liquidity. The CBs usually only intevene in emergency situations - they want to save their ammunition because if they do it all the time there's a chance it won't work anymore

It is also possible that the inflation number that came out point to lax Fed rates in the near future, and therefore, the Euro is not in danger of being "hiked" by USD rates.
i had an entry order to short E/U at 1.2363 but it was not filled when the price reached that level. got alot of beeping sounds from my computer. why did this happen? this is 2nd time today. 1st time i did not really notice until it happened again a few minutes ago.
