It keeps going and going and going....
158 pips up from the daily open..
I've managed to take a meager 8.3 pips from the short side. The initial "pop and drop" scared the heck outta me. Looking at the wicks of some of these candles; I'd say this is a rather mean fight up.

This move up in the euro has an artificial feel to it - a possibility of central bank intervention

    Careful

Losses in the AUD pairs are getting close to very disruptive inter-market levels.

    EUR GBP AUD CAD
    8.72% 3.39% -17.00% -3.74%

That is not a healthy looking correlation for those moves. Something is very wrong today. I'm not waiting around to find out.

Not sure - the swaps are mainly to provide liquidity. The CBs usually only intevene in emergency situations - they want to save their ammunition because if they do it all the time there's a chance it won't work anymore

It is also possible that the inflation number that came out point to lax Fed rates in the near future, and therefore, the Euro is not in danger of being "hiked" by USD rates.

    Where'd this come from????

I visited a couple Greek News sites, and what they DO talk about is the possibility of a North Euro and a South Euro.

On a personal note, I will allow the use of my avatar on the South Euro.

Greece has denied the rumor. That was fast.
