Better than me I went from 27 pips plus to 2 pips plus Stop loss is just above 1.2960 high . In 1 min this will be stopped out or in a bigger profit.
Well not a happy ending for my EUR/USD short - closed it at breakeven - I am long MXN/CZK since 2 days which clouded my judgment but the positions is taking off and is compensating for the EUR/USD short. - Still up for the week which is good.
Bernanke is a student of the great depression. But he also wants to make sure the FED does not become involved in politics. He has stated his tool box is about empty. This tells me, he has one bullet left. It would have to get pretty bad for him to start QE3 just before the US elections. He does not want to swing the elections in any direction, or give the appearance that the FED favors one candidate over another. You think its bearish now, and easy to trade. If our congress, and Pres. continue to run with staggering debt. All in the US will suffer from it. I think Bernanke is hoping for change in DC. Where Dem's and Repub's can come together, and reduce the national debt.
Edit: I hope your short EURO Robert. I would hate to add you to my list of trading losses. LOL
I'm ALWAYS short euro, been waiting for the damn thing to crash for two months. I don't know what it takes to send this thing down.

Brilliant.
thats it, i'm researching the fundimentals in future, clearly they'll give me the edge
Robert. really really impressed with your tenacity but isn't it time you used your obvious intelegence to study charts
bet you'll make a fortune if you did
good analysis is easy
making money from your analysis is a whole new ball game
Today in the US session, market bounced (short term) from the 1.2920 level due to the 61.80 % fib retracement + 100 % fib extension and prior consolidation at the same level. Furthermore, the 61.80 % fib retracement of the recent swing up didn't break substantially because there was no lower close below the range of the red breakout candle form the following candles (no confirmation).

Isn't it a bit like all major market tops were marked with extravagant bullish news and events, a few good writers of 'contrarian trading/investing' all like to talk about things like this. When is FB IPO this year? Perhaps in the future the market high at the time will be marked in EWI literature or some other materials as the 'FB high/top'.

important remark - stocks must not crash before FB IPO (may the 18th? as I recall)
edit: at least they should be in a recovery mode from a temp. low
still in a range no break out either side, london session coming to an end but prices are still under 2960/62 number.
the question arises are we going to make a strong support here or strong resistance for future
for now the range is 2946-2913
earlier was 2970-2936
and now we are trading in lower range
Keep it simple. Simple time-tested methods that are
well executed will beat fancy complicated methods every time.
Hey Asylum! I got twice that which was a lot of work and time. It has been tough sledding as the ranges have been fairly tight if you are trading at times before and after the bigger moves. These moves have a tendency of happening while I sleep.
But we usually have high volatility following low volatility. So next week could lead to some more trending moves.
