if you have been on this forum for long then you would know that they are not the same person.

If you have a problem with someone there is PM to deal with it not a public forum.

firstly if you blame someone else for bad trades sorry my friend its your own mistakes that cause you loosing money. The bigest thing in trading is not the system or signal but the way you trade it with trade management money management and youre personal feeling. i was unsusesful for a year and a half bought many systems and looked for the holy grail. real sucsess in forex lies in yourself and ways you implement rules. sorry no offence

It's 16:00 where I am an 10:00 in New York. I think the missing hour is because they are currently using Daylight Savings.

Hong Kong is GMT+8, New york is GMT-5, so you are 12 hours ahead(5+8 minus 1 for DST).
So 10AM in New York should mean you are 10PM in Hong Kong, exactly 12 hours ahead so to read 4x's charts just look at the midday line in his image as 12 midnight for yourself.
The thing you will have to make sure of is that you are looking at the correct day... just remember 12 hour's ahead.

Until DST then it will be 13 hours. I think that's in November, someone please correct me if I am wrong. Then back to 12 hours in March 2010 again.

Take a look at this link... world timezones it might help to make things clear in your mind.

Hope that helps.

Oh yes... it's actually just much easier to go to google and type in "time in new york"... ;-)

Also most charting packages will allow you to change the timezone the charts are displayed in.

Cheers
thanks for yr details guide.
i think u r right. i could hv been reading the wrong date hehe.

Cool

in at 16370 out at 16520 - calling it a night! hope next week is better than this week and we get some clear direction on where this is going - all the research i've done and papers i've read indicate we could be heading for a month long consolidation/correction for cable but this baby just keeps wanting to rise and rise. i read somewhere here that the expectation is 1.8 - you know i wouldn't doubt that! markets are teflon like these days - no bad news is sticking, this is surely a pre-cursor to wave 5. good luck to all those still trading, and have a good weekend!

keep on pipin!

Trade setup

So.. Cleared the day up 82 pips. 2 losers and 3 winners. Missed the initial move off the 6354 bounce (first blue box) trading the consolidation in the 6418 area is where I took my 2 losses.. then got back in when the 48 provided support (2nd blue box) Rising trendline was also there.

Got in at 6406. out @ 6528. This last trade is what brough me back to Break even and beyond. Flat now.. and calling it a day. Good luck next week everyone.

Get in on pull backs and get out @ new highs.

what pattern do you think next week will be? lower-low and lower highs or higher-highs and higher-lows from the week 1 forecast solution that you posted

Just trying to get a better sense of how to trade the PP's.
thanks
Oh well then, I guess waiting was the right move...

Panda, here's the cycle chart with Hong Kong time zone. Your time zone is 12 hours ahead of New York. So when it is 4 pm monday in NY, it is 4 am tuesday in Hong Kong.

The vertical lines on the chart are noon Hong Kong time. Next week, the week 1 cycle graph will be used.

4xis2ez,
thanks for posting your 4 week solution. I'm trying to reconcile it with the 16 week solution you posted a while ago (starting on Aug 11, 2008). The 16 week solution is at #13, by my figuring. I don't see that the 4 week and 16 week work together.

Here is a chart of this weeks price movement so far. The turn points I post are the approximate timing of the swing highs and lows. The numbers at the top are highs (imagine that!) and the bottom numbers are lows. Look at the chart I post here. The turn points I posted match fairly closely to the actual time of the high and lows this week. My turn points are set to the New York time zone with the vertical lines being midnight NY time. You need to change the time zone of the turn points to match your time zone where you live or what time zone your charts are in, whichever is best for you. Then trade the turn points as you see fit to do. I am not going to tell you when to buy and sell, that is up to you.
Next weeks turn points will come from the #1 week.
