In the months I have been demo trading I have seen many EMA's cross with little, or almost no follow through with price action. Basing a trade plan on only EMA crosses is not very wise. EMA's should only be used as a complement to the other indicators that you are watching when you are looking for a trade setup.

I'm curious, have you tried implementing RSI, MACD, or Stochastics into any of your trade systems? If so, how did they work for you?

i have a break below the main channel

1st target: 5900/5920
2nd target: 5820
3rd target: new lows

short term indicators headed for lower extremes - will be watching for potential bounce off of target1 or 2

any longs taken - take them near such levels with small stops....IF this is the move, it is gonna fall......no news needed!

good day all!

I had a break below my trendline as well, went short @ 5993, as I'm typing it appears to be having trouble breaking through 5950, will be interesting to see if it bounces off this level b/c this is the .500 fib retracement as well as the low from yesterday. If it does break will look to add to my position, first target will be around 5900 (resis from trend line).

indictators

to alex and djloser,
use MACD, stochastics or rsi (they are similar, so 2 might be redundant). Drawing and obeying trend lines is key.Take top down approach, multi screen (daily, h4, h1) use h1 or h4 for entries and exits, trade in direction of trend on daily chart. Read Trading for a Living by Alexander Elder.
I also look at ATR and Bollinger Bands. and I have 5,10,25,30,50,100, and 200 SMA's plotted. I use more than one chart, because all this on 1 would be a mess. Hope this helps, patience is key. Money Management is critical.

TO mikelgcsvd

sir, you say "To share ivigorates your soul n bring joy to God".
With all due respect, you have not shared anything more than your own alleged success and how cool you are. What does vanity and boasting bring to your soul and God?
I understand you are trading at a small level and may not be taking trading that serious. There are some here whose livelihood is made. It also satisifies the soul and brings joy to provide for self and family. Just food for thought, I dont wish to come off to hard, for intentions are difficult to assess in brief lines of text.

no need to stop - just show some type of reasoning or something?

telling someone you make 30 pips every couple hours, i am not sure how that is actually contributing to a forum context? if you are trying to advertise, then be upfront about it and just advertsise....

adios!

good mornig all,

1h chart - looks bearish tenkan crossed kijun and chikou is below price - kumo wall is the last support, but it is quite thin and sloping down.

4h chart - more interesting - bullish cross and chikou span at crucial point - it is rise or fall moment - should chikou penetrate the price - one more high is likely- but as you can see prevoius bullish cross took place at the top of correction and then cable fell sharply

4h chikou span reaction will be decisive in my opinion

edit: 1h candlstick - there is virtually no room up for bears - hourly close above 1.5963 will be pretty bullish and a goodbye rally at monthly pivot is so probable

many pips to all

Patryk

both fiber and cable closing in on some trendlines.....

will add to short positions @ 5890 for cable, and 4520 for fiber

a bounce from here would expose the recent highs...

be careful out there!

Not a big fan of the uncorrelated moves between usd/eur/gbp the past hour, decided to close out at a very slim profit, will be looking to reenter a position once I see something a little more friendly.

My guru won't tell me how he got that signal. Yes I m a forex trainer and I charge a small fee USD100 but with money back guarantee that if you follow the signal u will make net profit. Anyway his system works so far. Time will tell. So use a demo a/c n judge it.
