Socialskydd kostar mer — och mindre
Mätt i reda pengar har utgifterna för det sociala skyddet i Sverige — som pensioner, arbetslöshetsersättning, sjukvård och barnomsorg — ökat med 430 miljarder kronor, eller drygt 73 procent, under perioden 1993—2010, enligt Statistiska centralbyrån (SCB). Men mätt i andel av den svenska bruttonationalprodukten (BNP) har utgifterna för skyddet tvärtom minskat rejält.
