Åtta av tio tar HPV-vaccin

Vaccineringen mot livmoderhalscancer verkar bli framgångsrik - trots farhågor om motsatsen. Åtta av tio flickor som erbjudits HPV-vaccin har tagit det. Det indikerar Smittskyddsinstitutets enkätundersökning bland 175 skolor och 85 kommuner. - Det är glädjande att en så stor andel av flickorna väljer att vaccinera sig. Särskilt mot bakgrund av att tonåringar och unga vuxna är en grupp som är svår att nå med hälsobudskap, säger Smittskyddsinstitutets generaldirektör Johan Carlson i en kommentar.
