Vill stoppa prästbesök i fullmäktige

Årets första kommunfullmäktigemöte i Vårgårda inleds alltid med en religiös andakt. Men nu vill miljöpartisten Helen Persgren sätta stopp för traditionen.- Det blir väldigt fel för den som tänkt sig att gå och lyssna på en politisk debatt och så är det en präst där, säger hon till SR Sjuhärad.Kyrka och stat gick skilda vägar år 2000. Helen Persgren tror att det faktum att Vårgårda har många missionsförsamlingar kan ha gjort att ingen har reagerat på andakten tidigare.
