I think you put it on a dart board and whatever price you hit becomes your next target.

PS, Don't throw the darts at your monitor.

    Shorting Silver @ $28.48

    Target: $26

    Reason: Bearish pressure

On the upside Long @ 29.50

Reason: Greece will get more money

Unfortunately only Gann Knows the secret of it and he passed away without revealing it, instead he left some hints to follow it. Mr.Tonton Uncle using it for his trading and he is good till now on gold and silver.

Hello, thanks for that, l have heard of this just didn't recognise it and just so you know, l wasn't mocking it in any manner, l was just asking what it was

my trading strategy - can only describe it as simple and stupid. I trade price action as it develops, l have only started in Dailyfx on Monday and l have posted quite a few of my trades in forex forums and here - have a look

    http://forexforums.dailyfx.com/globa...alysts-42.html

as an example of trading price action ( strategy ) as it develops please refer to 621, 622, 623 and 624 in the link above

    simple stupid trading

I usually post over on the EURUSD threads but been expanding my asset classes and the FTSE looks particularly interesting because of thsoe trendlines. I have just posted 'waves' up to 5 years in components over on the Purely EURUSD thread, so that might be worth a look.

The waves use 5 period 'attenuated moving averages' that suffer very little lag - in fact a Line chart of the closing prices matches a 5 attenuated MA exactly on all time frames. So these waves are like line charts of monthly price/time slices from 1 month to 2 years on a daily chart and 13 months to 5 years on the weekly chart. They have been doing a very good job of not unwinding to the upside and now look like they finally are about to waterfall over those trend lines. If you look left on the screen shots, you can see what they look like when the bands stack neatly - this represents consensus across multiple investor timeframes - the ultimate 'dont trade against the trend' scenario perhaps.

So nope, not buying dips. If you look at the EURUSD waves, me thinks this time is really different.

the gradient of the downtrendlines are decreasing over time, this usually implies downtrend weakening and as it appears from now there is also higher lows - will be looking for intraday buys the coming week

Shucks I took Friday May 25 off ...
O dear, did you miss my warning the night before the gold options expiry of May 24?? ....
Comex Gold always goes down for options expiry and then bounces afterwards. Always (check the history). Because the banks sell naked paper shorts to drive the paper price down to ensure that call options they sold to suckers expire worthless. Just another aspect of big banks' corruption that regulators wont or cant bother with (the banks are doing god's work....lol)
