Greg's Trading Approach
Greg’s Trading Approach
Though I strongly believe in swing trading and position trading in the direction of the daily and weekly trends, I am very at home as a scalper/day trader. As a veteran trader with over 15 years of trading experience in stock options, commodities, and FOREX, I have accumulated a lot of “screen time”. This experience, combined with hours of simulated years of trading data, has enhanced my pattern recognition ability when trading 1-minute and tick charts. By diversifying my strategy between long term and short term trading, I have the luxury of capitalizing on easily recognizable long-term trends for capital appreciation while simultaneously taking advantage of short-term market volatility for rapid income. Scalping in the direction of the 30-minute trend and taking entry signals from stochastics on a tick chart is my current favorite strategy. I own the unique accomplishment of 400 winning scalping trades in a row without a loss using the Active Trader demo account. Trader, Gregory McLeod moderates the DailyFX Forum.
