I welcome you to the Daily FX Forum Community. I am sure you will find many resources to appeal to your specific interest. You have to post 5 times in order to create a new thread. I have emailed the Forum administrator in order to process your request.

In the meantime, Strategy Trader comes in the C# programming language, and is completely compatible with any C# programming editor. Strategy Trader comes with a integrated compiler by the name of Strategy Language Editor that you can use to compile your code once written. So – if you have a background in C# you can generally get started up pretty quickly by right clicking under the “Strategy Advisors,” menu and selecting “Create New Strategy Advisor.”

To get started with coding – we offer some information on our FXProgrammers page – and this includes classes, delegates, etc. So – if you have some programming background (perhaps with C, or C++, or perhaps other object oriented languages) you can get started here:

Also on this page are functions you can use to reference in your code.

If you do not have previous programming knowledge, you can certainly find numerous C# tutorials available online completely free of charge to help you get started with the basics, and then move onto these resources.

Another available option –

We have a programming services group available at an hourly rate to code your strategies for you in C#. They can custom code almost any strategy for you in the Strategy Trader platform.

Hello Everyone:

I am not new to currency trading. I started out two years ago. Duration of those two years, I've been working like a mad scientist and finally came up with a trading system which is developed for long term time frames especially for daily and weekly charts. But you can also use it for short term time frames such as 30 minute/ 1 hour and 4 hour charts. The only difference is that you are limited to your profits with short term timeframes. Everytime it will catch small and long movements with daily and weekly charts.

Just registered for your forum and have only been trading demo for a few months. My trading results have been dreadful until I found Ichimoku and combined it with slow stocastics and wonderful things have begun to happen, like regular profitable trades. I would like to find other cloud traders to further hone my skills.
