Hot Trade 06/25/09
One of the top 5 trades has a variety of open positions, and the ones that always catch my eye are longstanding trades. Of these was a long EUR/USD trade that was executed after the pair broke above the 200 SMA. EUR/USD has now been consolidating for almost a full month, so I'm curious to hear what your thoughts are on the pair.

The -&S config on 8 hr from the other week led folk blindfold into a short strategy. I did'nt trust it, and think the pair will go long, as it's above the trend-line support. Made good pips on this pair going long, although too many folk have been negative about it recently.

I'm confused by these leaders below. How is it that someone can make 600 - 1000 % in one day? I have gained 625% for the month of June and I thought I was doing pretty well. Is there a way to see who the top traders are for the month of june? Not just for one trading day. I want to see what kind of astronomical numbers they have for the month.

I am sort of confused as to when exactly JUly compitition starts? My equity just shy of $500 (3EST 7/1/09) and am wondering if I am eligible for this month contest? Thanks.

July competition started on 6/30/09 @ 5pm EDT. You must have at least $500 in your account by then. If you want to know if you are eligible, you may email me at helene@fxcmmicro.com and I can research for you. But from what you said here, it doesn't seem like you are eligible. Still, please feel free to email me so I can get a clearer answer for you!

One of the top 5 traders sold EURUSD near 1.4150 just after the pair tested a falling trendline on July 1. This contestant's position is still open, suggesting they see potential for greater declines. What do you guys think?

One of the top traders bought GBPJPY this morning after the pair plunged below 148. The pair has jumped this morning and is currently testing falling trendline resistance near 150. What are your thoughts on GBPJPY and the JPY crosses in general?
