TRADER's Journal
- Why Do I Trade Forex?:
- Because I love the challenge
- Trading Experience:
- 0-2 Years
- Best Trades of the Week:
- Last week caught USD/JPY long head and shoulders break for 41 pips
- Trade Pick of the Week:
- Short EUR/USD once div sets in, short AUD at lower prices on week, long USD/CHF on div.
- Worst Trades and Why:
- GBP trades I have no clue but GBP is usually more range-bound than EUR
- What I look at when I trade FX:
- Bollinger Band, Slow Stochastic, MACD, Moving Average, Economic News Releases
- What are my favorite currency pairs:
- EUR/GBP, EUR/USD, AUD/USD, USD/CAD
- Why do I trade my Favorite currency pairs?:
- Mostly because I like the way they move, I'll trade the other major currency pairs if they look good but the above currencies are my best performing (most profit), the most liquid, and the best appeal to my eye. I liked EUR/GBP ever since my father and I (he trades forex and commodities too) spotted a weekly coil also it was my first trade I gained more than 10 bucks on
- What Type of Trader am I?:
- Short Term Trader
- What do I risk on a trade:
- Never more than 2% it keeps me out of trouble and keeps my account afloat sometimes if I'm trading countertrend it is even as low as .5%
- What are your Favorite Financial Sites?:
- dailyfx, www2.barchart.com
