Re:Books. No, there is no astro stuff in these books. There are three books that I consider must haves:Technical Analysis of Stock Patterns, by Robert Edwards and John Magee (6th edition); Technical Analysis for the Trading Professional, by Constance Brown; Elliott Wave Therory by John Frost and Robert Prechter.

Everybody is different and employs different techniques so you may or may not like those books.

I don't follow astro as it is very complicated (I'm just a simpleton). Market-Analyst may be for you if you really like this stuff. They do give a 14-day trial (free) on their software Market Analyst Software - Stock Market Technical Analysis Charting Software so you can check it out to see whats involved. I don't use their package, I just know they have one of the best astro charting options.

Hi Mike.sorry for not getting back to you sooner.unfortunately I was trying to fix my computer. :(
yes I've read prechter's book many times.although EW practitioners consider it as a bible and I personally do not have anything against it,but I still think there are lots of clues in EWP which are covered in dynamic trading in details, such as different time and price projection techniques or some sort of trade setups based on EW and daily bars (of course I've twisted bar charts in my way!! I like candlesticks better ;) ) and it's not as complicated as neely's method.
    cheers :)
