Price Differences

I am working with a mutual client that is using the FXCM Trading Station as well as Ensign Software. We brought up the LiveCharts and compared with Ensign. They matched exactly. We then brought up the FXCM Trading Station and it differed from the LiveCharts and Ensign.

Why are they out of sync and is there anything we can do to sync them up?

Please view the attached screen capture for some additional information.

Note, I am obviously aware of the decimal difference (5 in the Station and 4 on the LiveCharts) but that is not the difference I am referring to. The spread between the two. There appears to be, at times, a 10 second delay between the two, when the data is light, like very late at night on the east coast.

Thank you in advance for your time and efforts.

Price Difference

Esign Mike,

Charting packages such as esignal and net dania tend to pull from a historical price server. This price server gets rates from live trading and retains it in a centralized spot. This can result in a bit of latency compared with dealable rates. The trading station II on the other hand is streaming live dealable rates straight from our liquidity providers. Given these differences, there may be slight lag in charting rates from time to time. I tend to think that unless a price is tradeable, then its very hard to tell if its an actual real time rate.
